(1) I've never heard someone being criticized for understanding a problem from multiple perspectives. This approach is novel!
(2) The added strength of this post comes from the unfounded assumptions, but straw man arguments are critical for eliciting strong emotions from the target. In short, assume the pretense of knowledge, then begin typing.
Excellent post, JB!
BigBallinStalin I'm pretty disappointed in your interpretations of my opinion of you as a tv character. I mean-ah, you opened this thread with (
sigh) yet another google image that seemed to imply, at least to me, that you already knew what we would all say. I wasn't so sure that it wasn't just me before, but because of the general direction/lack of interest in this thread and some words shared with friends, it does seem that others agree with me.
Like, I tried to think if there ever was a butthole used as a character in a movie... even in a cartoon,... but all I could think of was Seinfeld's belly button. I thought about that guy's girlfriend in Bonny and Clyde, y'know, Rosanne's mom. But who's showing you off? Then all at once Krycek just came to me. It was pretty perfect as a descriptor.
You as a CC character reminds me of Tom Green. When he first debuted his talk show, people went wild for him. He was regarded as some kind of more awesomer MTV David Letterman. But then later,.... ugh... what were we thinking? That guy's just a stupid annoying dick.
I figured that you already had an incline of this undercurrent of feelings toward you on this forum. Why else would you cannibalize thegreekdog's topic idea and attention-whore with it in this way? And the whole "come at me bro" was just to tell us to be honest because... you already knew.
Or so I thought.
I do apologize about the whole calling you out as a multi thing as I don't even remember that part. As I think back on this I don't remember it at all. Admitting you could be the multi of conquerclub's answer to Saint Thomas*, DancingMustard, but even if you are we still don't like your character. And there's no sense in treating a new character like an old one. Otherwise, what's the point of creating new characters? But all in all, it appears far more likely that you're doing some character and that you're not actually a multi. Even though you knew which forums to post what in when you joined here and say stuff that seems false. But!
If I could have given you some advice, it would be to stop with all these retarded copy/paste google images and cannibalized topics. It's like we already know what you're going to do, we just don't know how you'll use the [img] tags. Also, no more of this "i'm an economist so you should believe this." I think that even the people who used to believe you will see the light after visiting this thread.... though I admit most people seem to be ignoring it. But instead, you should decrease the quantity and increase the quality. Like, you've heard the expression "If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything." Well for you I'd say "If you don't have anything relevant to say, don't search for a google image."
*I know that a lot of CCers like to compare DM to Jesus, but I don't like to compare anyone to Obama. Plus that other black guy kinda has that label wrapped up around here.

search.php?st=0&sk=t&sd=d&sr=posts&keywords=rhetoric&author=BigBallinStalinOk, I did a quick search but even I did not expect these results. I have here 8 pages of quotations from you where you over use the word "rhetoric." You're going around accusing everyone else of using popular "rhetoric" but now you want to act like you don't know anything about current politics?
