Canada being caught between the loud neighbour and the rest of the world, we use 12/3/14. It avoids confusion.

Well, I see it as (smallest possible number) / (second smallest possible number) / (largest possible number).
But still, I think 2012-3-14 would be best.

So do you say "the fourteenth of March" every time you say the date and not "March fourteenth?"
