Amidst all of the confusion, and behind the scenes, Barrack Obama signs yet another bill which tramples upon one of the basic civil liberties which has, for 200 years, been part of what it means to BE AMERICAN. However, I have ceased to be surprised by these incidents. But that's not the whole story. that's NEVER the whole story. This one comes with an interesting new twist. This bill was passed through the house of representatives, and never made it to the senate. You see, HR 347 got a super majority, and was able to bypass the Senate. Only 3 representatives, Ron Paul (R)- TX 14th district, Justin Amash (R)- MI 3rd district and Paul Broun (R)-Georgia's 10th district, voted NO. 30 others voted "present" or weren't there. These last 30 are on the naughty list, but the other 402 are no longer fit to represent the great people of our United States of America, and I hope every American agrees. Here's a video explaining:

Barack HUSSAIN Obama killed my baby. He was, to be fair, a dingo at the time. Will he be a dingo again in the future? We just can't kow. Am I crazy for posting this? Think for yourself sheeple, there are youtube videos that prove it.

I didn't see anything in that video about bypassing the Senate.

But it's not surprising since the vast majority of our elected representatives trample all over the Constitution whenever they get the chance. That's what you get when you have a "living document": it will eventually become lifeless.

Sorry, the bypassing the senate thing was on Rep. Amash's facebook page, which is where I got the video.

Don't worry. The ACLU says they'll "keep and eye on any abuse."

While I agree this law is overreaching, and Ron Paul deserves laudits for voting against it, FOX seemed to dramatize it just a bit from what the text says: http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/BILLS-112h ... 347enr.pdf

As I read it, the intent is to stop things like this demonstration by Obama campaign staffers at a Clinton rally in 2008 -

- the conditions of "impede ingress or egress", "act of physical violence" and "intent to impede ... that impedes" seem to establish a pretty high threshold for prosecution.

Since launching my own campaign for Coroner, I have been concerned about the possibility of being accosted during speeches and appearances, particularly given the contentious nature of this race.

If you do not want to be accosted, I would suggest not wearing your short shorts.

This law is disturbing, but hardly the most disturbing. The Patriot Act must go. Seriously.

Bypassing the Senate? How is that possible?

This could have been a misinterpretation on my part, but what I read was "there is no recorded senate vote due to the nearly unanimous approval"

probably it was passed by voice vote, in which case more than 80% supported it

The Yeas and Nays of the members of either House on any question shall, at the desire of one fifth of those present, be entered on the journal.

That must be it, because I can't see Paul, DeMint or Lee voting for it. Thanks, Uncle Saxi!
