watching a Woody Allen film tonight.. Get some snacks, a beer or two and watch one. But I think I've seen them all...

I like movies like that, not jump around, just flat storyline. Flat storytelling, existentialism, there's no meaning, but passions.

Would you recommend a movie like those?

In the mood of? Interesting. I notice the Mexican flag in your profile. I am not a linguist, but I still find the differences pretty interesting. I would say I'm in the mood for ice cream.

I don't watch Woody Allen but I also like dry films sometimes.

Oops. In Spanish you could say "Tengo ganas de" (I'm in the mood of) for both watching a movie or having some ice cream, or fucking too. "Tengo ganas de coger".

What phrase could I use instead? I feel like??

"I'm in the mood for [whatever]" works well.

I'm not sure why you see Woody Allen movies as "not jump around, just flat storyline. Flat storytelling, existentialism, there's no meaning, but passions." :?

Well, I mean existentialism in the practice of the art, not really in the meaning or the subject of the movie. Like what Picasso did with his paintings, going back to two dimensions, I believe (although I'm not sure, I'm far from being educated in film) that movies that don't have much twists in storytelling, just basically flat, represent existentialism in its own way.

They have twists, his movies, but they are relaxing to me, like he can express the passions so well that there's no conflict in myself and find catarsis throuhgout the film.

And why the f*ck does chrome keeps underlining the word movies..

Sideways might be a good choice, if you haven't seen it. I also re-watched The Station Agent recently, which seems like it might be a movie you'd like.

Watch Up in the Air featuring George Clooney. Not only is it like a Woody Allen movie, it doesn't have his snivelling mug in it. The word is underlined because you have some adware or something. You are a walking infection!
