Tea Party Cand Romney Admits To Only Representing the Rich

Mitt Romney, the Tea Party's candidate for President and practitioner of a religion that believes that black people are intrinsically evil and inferior to white people, admitted last night that he hates everyone but the wealthiest one percent of America.

His plans will sell off our prosperity to the wealthiest of Americans who, when the country is finally in ruins, will have enough money to just pick up and move to any other country. Romney is already able to do this, but his greed is leading him to support policies that will only help him steal more money from the middle class.

The Tea Party and Mitt Romeny, HOW DARE THEY!

Goodness. The racism is, sadly, unsurprising as we've seen so much hateful violence from the TP-associated death squads, but the class warfare in which the Tea Party engages frightens me. They often claim, like Hitler did, to have populist motives, but their real goals are crystal clear. The Tea Party is just going too far.

Where is the damning evidence in that article? The Hillary Rosen attack was a gift to the Romney campaign. Democrats want to raise taxes on the rich, which is what will happen when deductions for second-home mortgages are removed. Cutting and consolidating government agencies IS a great plan to move to a better and smaller government. What's the problem here? Everything he said in that speech to donors (at least what was mentioned in the article), we basically knew. Romney has said in public that he plans to cut or trim many departmental agencies and go one-by-one through each. There is nothing in that article that indicates "His plans will sell off our prosperity to the wealthiest of Americans...", so this thread is nothing more than pimpdave's continual sufferings from Tea Party Derangement Syndrome.

No reason why a second home should get a tax break. First home mortgages support home ownership, which is beneficial to a community (though tax bit is debatable), but second homes are about either "showing off" or earning an income. Either way, they don't need deductions to make them more attractive.

As for the selling off our prosperity.. it comes down to not funding things upon which middle class people need, such as allowing even more cuts to schools, healthcare, etc.
However, I agree that the OP attack was rather dumb.

How can pimpdave suffer from TPD syndrome when he is not a Tea Party member?

Clearly, the correct definition is this:

urbandictionary.com wrote:The acute onset of paranoia in Tea Party followers that cause them to mistrust their fellow Americans when they appear not to endorse their Far-Right ideals. This causes them to take a dualistic approach to those who disagree with them. Often leading them to never give the opposing side's opinions a chance in their minds

Given NS' reaction to the anti-TPDS threads, it appears that NS is suffering from TPD syndrome, but this is untrue because NS is not a Tea party supporter; otherwise, he'll have to explain why he supported Bush and his economic interventionist policies and not Obama's policies, which were similar to Bush's.

If NS says that he is a Tea Party supporter, then he's also a hypocrite. Being in the Tea Party is a fad for him to criticize Obama for actions which Republicans have done, will do, and would have done anyway.

Its impossible to be a hypocrite for supporting (or opposing, for that matter) the tea party, because there is no such organization.. it is just a label that a bunch of people with very, very diverse ideas found attractive and latched onto to try and hype their way into popularity/political rhetoric.

The Tea Party very definitely exists. They appear to act through a very shadowy network of cells that specialize in guerrilla tactics at both the political and street levels of society. Their motives seem to be the more anarchic, vandalistic properties of their namesakes, unfortunately eschewing the higher principles and goals of the patriots that made up the Boston Tea Party. It's a disgrace that such an organization has been allowed to coopt the name. And their nebulous tactics bring me great uncertainty as to the fate of my family and this great nation.

the acute onset of paranoia in otherwise normal people in reaction to the growing number of people attending Tea Parties
Oh, he doesn't need facts, he's one of those left leaning bloggers suffering from Tea Party Derangement Syndrome (TPDS).

If we were to take the example you shared BBS, we would have to assume that means Bush Derangement Syndrome was something that affected Bush supporters. Bushy boot-lickers were just blind patriots.

Anarchic is probably correct. Try calling out a leader of the movement, say a Malkin or Beck, and those who claim to members of the movement will say that they are not leaders. They will often deny that they were not even members.

Fun trick, to pretend to be against anarchism, while denying anyone is control.
