I think one positive thing a large majority of American's will agree on is that the Tea Party brought the national debt and the deficits to the forefront, to where over 75% of the electorate feels that debt/spending will be an important factor when they vote in November. The downgrades from Obama's trillion dollar spending spree has woke up many Americans as well.
It really is too bad the Tea Party was not represented in government
before America's debt rating got downgraded for the first time in history.
We
need to address our debt! The longer we wait, the worse it will be, and it's getting worse exponentially as our interest payments to service our debt will cost more than our military does in 2019, and I would bet even sooner.
