No spoilers please. But I just saw it. Was excellent.
Only thing I'll talk about in this post is the future for the Marvel movies. These are my predictions, some in particular order, but not completely.
-New spiderman series 1
-Hulk with Mark ruffalo, thor 2, capt america 2, or iron man 3. Also the sequel to x-men first class (but I'm fairly certain they're keeping those two universes separate)
-Another reboot, either Fantastic Four or Punish (please god no more punisher movies) and the remaining sequels of the ones mentioned in the line above
-Avengers 2, spoiler at the end of this one about spidey or other rebooted series joining up (mr fantastic, for example)
-More sequels
-Avengers 3
-Avengers and X-men crossover
And that should take us through like 2025 in Marvel's playbook. Not to mention more x-men origins movies
Any other Marvel properties you want them to work on? There aren't many other notable ones from what I remember. And I don't know the whole story arc, but I'd like them to put an end to everything with the Civil war stuff. Not that it will ever happen. As long as these properties make money, they'll continue making them, and when the actors get old, they'll keep rebooting them. Dunno how they'll replace robert downey jr in the avengers though (I assume he'd be the first to go as he's the oldest of the other main characters).
In other news, saw the new DKR trailer, very exciting. And the spiderman trailer is good too. And of course, PROMETHEUS!!!!!!!!!!!!1

X-Men and Avengers won't crossover until Marvel can buy back the rights.
That's also why you won't be seeing Spiderman in any universe aside from Spiderman's for the foreseeable future, and is also the biggest reason why you've seen this push for The Avengers. They're not Marvel's most recognized franchise, but it's the only one they've held onto the rights for, so good for them for building it the way they have.

What do you mean guys?
The comics characters all belong to Marvel, but not in movies?
Also to answer the op question, I'd like to see WWH. That would be great.
Maybe something with Cable too, but since Cyclops died in the movies...

Since the Punisher already got a reboot with Punisher: War Zone I doubt they'd consider trying it again.
And I kinda liked War Zone...

The characters belong to marvel, but the rights to the movies are owned by other companies right now. The studio that has done all the avengers characters movies is called "marvel knights" if i'm not mistaken. I think like sony or wb owns spidey, dunno who has x-men, but they've butchered and milked that franchise for far too long (aside from first class).
And what's WWH? Cable can still be included in the x-men movies if they want to just avoid his parentage and go with the "from the future" thing

WWH = World War Hulk

I'm fairly certain I read somewhere that Ruffalo signed a six movie deal or some such shit. I may have misremembered, but that's what I recall.

Was the Batman trailer the same one as the trailer released last week? Or was it another prologue?

I'd like to see a dcent Daredevil movie, also Elecktra. These are two of Marvel's best chracters (Daredevil was also an Avenger at one point), but the movies sucked dead alien donkey balls.

That was before Marvel Studios got off the ground. The first feature they had complete control over was Iron Man. Unfortunately, I think whoever has the rights to that property managed to extend them by making that film (like how Roger Corman held onto his piece of the Fantastic Four in the late 80s -- it's a hilariously awful movie that he apparently wrote and made in about four weeks upon being reminded his license was about to expire -- but he made a killing when he sold the license for the newer films).
I don't know if Marvel will want to spend the money to buy those rights back, but I do have faith in their studio. If anyone can make a good Daredevil movie, it'll be them.

I think the same as last weeks. It's where Anne Hathaway (presumably) is narrating it. Then joseph gordon levitt asks her something.
They don't show the whole touchdown run though, which is disappointing.
I didn't watch it online though, so it could be slightly different.

Yep, Avengers was dead good, surprisingly good in fact, especially enjoyed how it just kept a-rolling with the full-on action and many comedy gem moments. Missed the end-credits scene, can never be arsed watching that far!
All in all though it's a solid 9 out of 10!

yeah i thought it was great, the first 30 minutes went a little slow for me but the rest was quick and fast paced. the best part of the movie is the cast inter actions RDJ was hilarious as usual and really mark rufflo stole the movie as the Hulk. by far the best hulk incarnation and i hope a hulk series is built around him.

I'd also like to see a new Daredevil. I loved the Brian Michael Bendis/Alex Maleev stuff.

I got back from seeing it for the second time not long ago. It truly is an amazing film. Whedon did a fantastic job.
I believe Nick Fury's getting his own movie.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case; Samuel L. Jackson still has 6 more films left on his contract with Marvel (I would assume Avengers 2, Iron Man/Hulk/Thor/Cap sequels, and that?)

I've seen the Avengers twice and in between watched all the prequels. I can't believe I've been missing out on this stuff. I'm starting to develop an obsession with the Marvel movieverse.
Also, this is totally due to my already-existing obsession with Joss Whedon. He is my god.

Yes. I actually very much dislike "blow 'em up movies" and I am not at all a comic
book geek (I don't even like comics outside of the newspaper), but I too found
The Avengers to be excellent.
