				Alone, I

Despair because I always have thoughts of nihilism sinking in...
Perhaps I need to have more faith in myself?
I can almost begin to feel myself starting to slip, guys. No shit.
This is reminiscent of the time I dropped out of college because I was completely depressed.
I see no point in all of this.
Perhaps it's because I don't attempt to help myself?
Is this self abandonment?

				Jimmies, I...

also, just do something fucking crazy. I feel like if I ever get so bad that I'm worried about my own existence or whatever, that I should just drop everything and do something. If thinking is your problem, don't give yourself time to think.

Smoke some weed and find a new perspective within yourself. Or atleast that always helps me.

How have

I decided long ago that even though ultimately nothing will matter, I'd just indulge into my hedonism and just satisfy my every want. I work to those ends.

All of us can, at best, give you examples of shit that worked for us when we were feeling depressed. I don't know if any of us have ever been actually clinically depressed though ( I sure as hell haven't ).
Shit like realizing nihilism means your destiny is yours to make, or taking psychedelics to give you some perspective, or setting some ambitious near term goal and working your ass off to achieve it may or may not work.
If you feel you really have a problem that might seriously affect the rest of your life though, like dropping out of college, then you should f*ck our meaningless anecdotes and get some professional help.

This is one of the weirdest pictures I have ever seen.
It needs it's own thread.

Assuming this really is serious and not just a thing to see what people will say, I agree with Haggis (if that's not proof of miracles I don't know what is)

The only difference being that I think I have just passed through a mild clinical depression, maybe still emerging, as both of my parents just passed away a month apart this past winter (Nov.19 and Dec. 21) and no matter how non-tragic the circumstances, one doesn't just walk away from that like nothing happened.
As for me, I'm sure you know what my answer to meaninglessness in life is, but it would be pretty cheesy to be opportunistic here. If you do want to talk, please feel free to PM me. I really am a non-judgmental listener, though I obviously believe what I believe, just so there's no false advertising.

Even better, find somebody to help. Go serve at a soup kitchen, go difg gardens for old ladies, something that means you're not the only person your existence is important to. Make yourself valuable to other people, even if you don't give a shit for your own sake.

This thread makes me sad, but at the same time gives me hope to see so many concerned posters of CC. None of us know this guy personally and yet many of you stepped up to the plate to offer some help and for that I applaud you guys.

What I like to do those days that feel particularly down is get up the bed, get a long shower, and wear that shirt that I'm saving for special ocassions, along with a new pair off boxers that I also save for special ocassions.
If you pictured me like this:

you are racist.
BTW, both jonesy's and Lootifer advice are good, do little something for you, little something for others.

I have always wanted to try LSD, but never, for one reason or another, got around to it :/
I find uppers (speed et al) and downers (booze, weed et al) both to be rather boring.

They are crap and can't be compared. If you do find some, hopefully it will be the liquid format.
Edit: But just one drop for your first time.

It doesn't matter what form it's in. LSD is LSD. It's one molecule. n,n-diethyl-lysergamide.
All the difference between liquid / blotter is that liquid is harder to dose.
