My favourite bads are:
Pink Floyd
The Who
Led Zeppelin
Deep Purple

Jimi Hendrix
The Police
Steely Dan
Santana
Bachman Turner Overdrive
Eric Clapton
Steppenwolf

I know I am missing a lot, so just keep that in mind.

If I had to pick a number one favorite song, it'd be a tie between Sweating Bullets by Megadeth (duh, my avatar) or either Greed, Awake or Time Bomb by Godsmack.

Favorite bands:

AC/DC
Aerosmith
Motley Crue
Guns & Roses
Led Zeppelin
Rolling Stones
The Who
Rob Zombie/White Zombie
Black Sabboth/Ozzy
Dio
Pink Floyd
Jimi Hendrix
Blue Oyster Cult
Iron Maiden
Judas Priest
Def Leppard
Ted Nugent
Megadeth
Nirvana
Godsmack

That is only the top 14. But I like all of them equally.

Uh, I forgot about Van Halen and Tom Petty  . Oh, also Heart, Pat Benatar, Joan Jett (hey, ladies can rock hard to  ) and recently, Evanescence (don't judge me if you don't like). If it is Rock/Metal/Grundge, odds are I like it.

EDIT

Nickleback, Linkin Park, Scorpions, KISS, Alice Cooper, Green Day, Queen
