I like the NY Times interactive feature a little more. It has some suggested possible scenarios, some analyses of the race down to the state level, and you can make your own selections as well and see how things shake up:

What happens if no candidate gets the 270 electoral votes needed to win?

The House of Representatives would vote for a president and the Senate would vote for a vice-president.

Really? So, it would be possible to have a Democrat President and a Republican Vice-President?

I've never heard of that either, but Wiki agrees

If no candidate receives a majority of the electoral vote (currently at least 270), the President is determined by the rules outlined by the 12th Amendment. Specifically, the selection of President would then be decided by a ballot of the House of Representatives. For the purposes of electing the President, each state has only one vote. A ballot of the Senate is held to choose the Vice President. In this ballot, each senator has one vote. The House of Representatives has chosen the victor of the presidential race only twice, in 1800 and 1824; the Senate has chosen the victor of the vice-presidential race only once, in 1836.

Correct. The House of Representatives vote as one vote per state, however, not one vote per member.

So the House of Representatives will obviously remain in Republican hands. Are they obligated to vote between Romney and Obama or can they vote for whomever they want at that point? Like elect Santorum?

Also, if the Democrats lost 3 seats in the Senate, there would be a 50-50 tie. Would Biden then cast the tie-breaking vote to re-elect himself Vice-President?

What if Biden accidentally marked the wrong box on the ballot? It could happen.

President Limbaugh with VP Biden might render humor obsolete.
