Yes, I find it quite upsetting. I don't think there's a channel left that isn't mostly reality shows

The 'mermaids' in the show were supposedly discovered because the navy sonar testing that causes whales to beach themselves was killing the 'mermaids' too. Throughout the show they kept talking about the evil navy covering it up and how we need to stop the sonar testing.
