Lol. Stupid christian.

Louisiana State Rep. Valarie Hodges used to be a big fan of school vouchers. “I liked the idea,” she explained, “of giving parents the option of sending their children to a public school or a Christian school.”

Then last month Hodges got a First Amendment reality check when she discovered that Christian schools wouldn’t be the only religious schools getting tax dollars.

“Unfortunately, it (vouchers) will not be limited to the Founders’ religion,” she said. “We need to ensure that it does not open the door to fund radical Islam schools. There are a thousand Muslim schools that have sprung up recently. I do not support using public funds for teaching Islam anywhere here in Louisiana.”

EDIT: Changed "Stupid Christians" to "Stupid christian". I'm only calling the one lady stupid, not all christians. Sorry.

Crap am I reposting?

EDIT: Wait..isn't your statement redundant? "it's like deja vu" would be enough. Like an ATM Machine. You know, an automatic teller machine machine.

Yeah, sorry...we talked about it a bit ago. I think the title was about school vouchers, but I'm not sure.

Of course it is...it's a famous Yogi Berra saying.

This particular instance has nothing to do with the individual's backward beliefs. It's about "Stupid is stupid.".

Funny how so many refer to the "founder's religion", yet in the constitution, there is absolutely nothing about Christianity being the only allowable faith.

And whether they all were even Christian, is debatable. (debate over Jefferson, who rewrote his own version of the Bible, for example).

Funny how you can be as much of an ass as you like about peoples beliefs about any subject except religion.I can guarantee if the OP had been about politics or sport and someone had behaved as despicably as Ms Hodges, you wouldn't have said anything
