Relatives of three U.S. citizens ordered executed without trial by Barack Obama have filed suit against the President and his staff for murder. The ACLU is representing the trio in the multi-million dollar action. Among those seeking restitution is the family of Abdulrahman Al-Aulaqi, a citizen of Colorado who was ordered burned alive by Obama in retaliation for his father's criticism of Obama's foreign policy.
The American Civil Liberties Union and the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR) have filed a lawsuit challenging the government’s targeted killing of three U.S. citizens.
In Al-Aulaqi v. Panetta (Al-Awlaki v. Panetta) the groups charge that the U.S. government’s killings of U.S. citizens Anwar Al-Aulaqi, Samir Khan, and 16-year-old Abdulrahman Al-Aulaqi last year violated the Constitution’s fundamental guarantee against the deprivation of life without due process of law.

The government is on trial, and the government is the judge.

Maybe they'll give themselves a slap on the wrist to make themselves look impartial.

What a bunch of fucking bullshit that the president thinks that he can assassinate a citizen!!!!!!
Citizenship means something to me, something great. Under no circumstance do I support 12 people deciding in my name that a citizen should die (capital punishment) so likewise no way I would go for ONE person, regardless of who that is, calling citizenship naught and going all duke nukem on him.
To be clear - if I saw Awlaki on the battlefield I'd shoot that traitorous piece of shit myself, but there is a BIG difference between engaging an enemy in battle and ASSASSINATING a citizen.
I would love it if this took down the Obama presidency but there are too many stupid fucking liberals who hope out the crack of their ass.

I'm sorry but did you read my post? Where did I say Republican or Democrat Party?
Maybe you need some reading lessons AND there's a big difference between these two political parties. [This would include your baby sister Army of God]

I'm saying this based off your posting history here. And yes, there is a difference. Just like there is a difference between a man with a gun to your head and an old lady with a gun to your head. One of them only
looks benevolent.

Hey everyone! It's time to learn a new phrase. Today, it's-
Sovereign Immunity!
Yes, the age old law from the long gone days of Kings and Kingdoms which in effect says- "The State cannot commit a legal wrong".
But, Patches, what about the Federal Tort Claims Act? Can't the government be sued under that statute?
Certainly, for certain things that the government has waived it's sovereign immunity. Such as times where there is a contract dispute between two parties and one of the parties is the US government. Also in certain cases of negligence.
Now I suppose one could make the case that the CIA was negligent when they "accidentally" killed that kid. Then again, whomever pushed the button that dropped the bomb was following (<cough> <cough>) legal orders. I don't think the operator accidentally sat on the "drop bomb" button and if he did, good luck proving that.
Anyway, the lawsuit will be quashed. Obviously. Because, the government cannot commit a crime.

Obama's newest list of billionaire donors couldn't look more villainous if they just stepped out of central casting.
Haim Saban
Jon Stryker
Irwin Jacobs
Fred Eychaner
The super PAC supporting President Barack Obama had its best fundraising month to date in June, pulling in $6.2 million, but also spending even more on a barrage of ads blistering Mitt Romney.
Its biggest donation – $2 million – came from telecom billionaire Irwin Jacobs, who had not previously given to the Obama super PAC. And Priorities received $1 million each from Chicago media mogul Fred Eychaner, who had previously donated $500,000.
It also received $750,000 from billionaire heir Jon Stryker and $333,333 from billionaire media entrepreneur Haim Saban, who was among a handful of major Democratic donors who had been intensely courted for months to write a big check to support Obama and his Democratic congressional allies.
