Very, very touchy situation. Of course, you know your wife better than anyone, but I tend to think of the direct (but very tactful!) approach. If your marriage is a strong one, then you will have a way to simply give her your opinion. But tactfulness/consideration is of the utmost importance.

A friend of mine dealt with this very tactfully. When she asked if she should buy a particular dress, he said
"If you can get it over those hips!"

Although, if you're serious, the first question is: who does most of the cooking?

You lost the battle when you married some chick so sorry if I can't drum up any sympathy that you have to have sex with some out of shape troll. Never get married and more importantly for the love of god don't have kids.

Looking at it again, I'm guessing that "Forks Over Knives" and "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead" are the names of two (obscure) movies about fat people and/or losing weight, and AA is recommending ordering them from Netflix, or "Netflix-ing" them. Amuhrite?
