Actually, Donald Perry was the only person on the corporate board to protest Chik-Fil-A's speech. He was the only one that did not support the CEO and he wrote a letter of protest to the CEO.

Which means if this man was struck down for being a bigot, then God is on the side of the CEO

God is back, and he is pissed!!!!!!

So let's see, your post is....condemning a whole group of people, declaring that God hates them and will make them suffer...sounds judgmental, self-righteous and hateful to me.

Now what do you call someone who condemns other people for something but does it worse than they do? There's a name for that; I just can't seem to remember it.

I'm a poor atheist and don't have the same kind of Faith in PhatScotty that you do, but could you provide your source? Shirley you're not a convert to PhatScotticism?

This is a smoke screen for the real issues here, but I'll deal with it anyway. ...and don't call me "Shirley" :-)

First, no, I did not check Phatscotty's sources, but the well-documented fact that Perry issued a conciliatory message about the issue: (Source: Huffington Post)
In response, Perry last week issued a statement, writing "going forward, our intent is to leave the policy debate over same-sex marriage to the government and political arena," according to the Los Angeles Times.

...made it very believable to me. Perhaps P-scot can tell you what his sources were.

Second, did the OP know that this is not the case and Perry was indeed 100% in accord with Cathy's statement? Then it is judgment without knowing the facts

Third, let's say P-scot did indeed just make it up and Perry was 100% with Cathy. It is irrelevant to the point of my post. I repeat it and stand by it.

I wish Scotty would, but he's a bit dodgy on that front, which is why I called you out on basing part of your argument on a shaky foundation.

I suspect that you're on a fishing expedition for the word "hypocrite".

If you are talking about my post...

I was going with the context of the thread and the OP, which was stating who side God was on, and the narrative was represented by me with an "if". I would never be so ignorant or arrogant to say who's side God is on hahaha. That's GBU's field of expertise, as represented in the OP. "If" was the keyword

make sense now?

Here is the source
But Chick-fil-A did issue a corporate statement regarding the protests from Donald Perry, vice president Corporate Public Relations:

I can't wait to see Symmetry start holding people to the newly created "Phatscotty standards". I get special treatment, held to a higher standard, called a liar and a dodger, even though I have never dodged a single thing and always back up what I say when possible with numerous links and videos. Symmetry himself has refused to look at my links a few times, therefore I do not usually spend time getting links for him. And the one or two things some of the crazies on here will bring up as an example of me dodging, all I will say is I am not their slave. when they treat me with severe disrespect, vicious trolling, being called every name in the book, constantly derail my threads and ruin my conversations, am I really supposed to return respect to them? treat them honestly and provide sources on their demand?

what if some said to you..."You are just a crazy f'n idiot, and you are going to burn in hell. You life amounts to nothing and your mother did a terrible jab raising you. Do what I say and give me a link and answer my question you shit eating prick!" Would you respond? Would you possibly suspect they are just unreasonably demanding something (surprise surprise), with the troll mission in mind to call you a dodger on the very next post, regardless of what your response may have been? Because that is what trolls do, by definition, and that is why I did not feed them concerning the one or two times they will say I dodged something a few years ago.

Aren't you skipping past something? I know you are changing the subject, and I know why.

Are you gonna apologize for calling me a hypocrite, and admit that you misread my post because you did not recognize the key qualifier for the statement of "IF"?

So you see, you just read Gringo's post and autorolled on me without understanding my post and just going with what Gringo thought. So admit you are wrong and I will accept your apology.
