Not at all, just a statistical observation. No other language has a greater density of vowels than Finnish. In fact, it's the only language with more than 50% vowels.

I'm not judging you. I know better than to judge people by what their native language is. And anyway, I like Finnish. It's pronounced exactly like it's written and there are no exceptions in the pronounciation/spelling. It may well be one of the easiest languages in the world to learn. Even the intonation is easy to grasp.

I tend to agree. I like to piss my wife off by calling it "The Special Olympics of Music". That being said, I've never really considered either Alabama or The Oak Ridge Boys to BE "country music"...probably only because I actually like their music. <smile>

This is good to know. I'm going to learn it this weekend and then Nathan and I can have secret conversations to which none will be privy.
