Is it just me or is the forum a lot more interesting lately?

Perhaps there's just been more of the mindless drivel I enjoy rather than the mindless drivel I don't enjoy lately.

Anyway, here, have a celebratory Borat picture everyone.

Just make sure the poll includes a "Go f*ck yourself BBS, with kittens" option.....

Because I assumed we would all just break into a brotherly embrace followed by song and dance.

But FINE, have it your way.

It looks like a bunch of peeps trashed the place and have voted to call it clean.

They tried, but thankfully voices of reason were around to prevent them from being unopposed in claiming divine authority over everyone because of their magic book, and mostly they either went scampering away or resorted to non-sequitur or ad hominems in desperate attempts to justify themselves.

Iunno. It's probably more along the lines of mindless drivel that you enjoy. I know it's that way for me.
But I quickly lose interest when points have been made and things continue on... especially when no one responds to me.
I feel like an observer in a conversation, mostly. Even when I post. I guess I'm just boring most of the time. /sadface
Where's the, "Eh..." or "Meh..." option? All polls need an expression of indifference!

Aww give this poster a kitten! Stat!

Just keep posting, we all have posts which never get quoted or repsonded to, and sometimes it's just about playing the numbers until you start to build up some sort of connections (be they positive or negative) with the other posters, at which point they will be more likely to respond to you directly.

Also, just troll BBS, he loves it it seems and will always rise to the bait

Yeah, I'm not worried... it just makes a person feel less involved and lose interest. That's life, though.
Also, AHM ALLERGIC TO KITTIES! But they're so goddamn cute and cuddly...

I was feeling the same way. It's all thanks to puppydog in my opinion, he's given us someone to argue with that isn't PhatScotty.

I think it started with the Comics thread--mainly with the Haggis and natty_dread and (Someone else?)'s contributions.
And with JB's mimicking PS tactics.

Then it started to snowball--as if we hit critical mass or a tipping point:

Puppydog is up there, same with crispybits.
the rising surge of opposition against Phat-dickishness, which helped.
that thread recalling ConquerClubbers who we wish were here (heavycola appeared, Frigidus did) ...
Oh! The surge of multis was useful, and fun.

...

The political threads (minus the JB-ness) spewed forth about the same levels of sewage...

I'm rambling, so I'll stop there.

He's like Phatscotty's religious alter-ego.

(Which is interesting, given that Phatscotty is religious, though he won't deign to admit it...)
