The Catholic Church, a blameless and pure organization without any hint of corruption whatsoever, is once again being persecuted! Why won't these awful children and police and prosecutors stop lying all the time?

This horrible persecution involves Father Angel Armando Perez, who has been charged with molesting/raping children! This is unheard of! This terrible injustice against the wealthiest, most powerful religious organization in the world is just plain wrong. Fellow Catholics (I've converted), we all know that the church is ABOVE THE LAW. How dare anyone point to another example of child-raping priests!

Father Angel Armando Perez has even been denied bail. Fellow brothers and sisters in Catholic Christ, let's all be sure to tithe extra in the coming weeks to pay for Father Angel Armando Perez's defense. The sooner he can be freed and sent to a parish where he isn't currently persecuted, he can resume his blessed work with children. We all know this is the best course of action, for if it wasn't, our Holy Catholic Church wouldn't have been doing just that for decades, if not centuries!

I am outraged. I think the Catholic church should not be held responsible for the actions of the tiny minority of pedophile priests, or any efforts to cover them up. I am a good Catholic. I love Jesus and Mary. I just want my family to be safe.

And the best way to keep them safe is to bring them up as good Catholics, imprint in their blessed little minds to always obey their elders, to accept candy from people who talk at them once a week while they doze off in the pew, send them to choir practice, have them be altar boys so a priest of God can look over them. Surely there's no place our children are safer than alone with a sexually deprived man of the Good Lord, our Father in Heaven.

Yes, this organization, which has a long history of social progress, truly represents a balanced perspective in our chaotic world. Why, I can't even conceive any possibility of malicious intent in such a spotless record of furthering the causes of humanity, particularly with regard to sex crimes and transparency.

Hey, the judge in Oregon ruled that the priest can't be considered as an employee of Vatican City, thus exculpating the Catholic Inc.

I wonder if the judge was Christian...


It's a weird ruling... Still can't reason it through... I guess the Vatican has absolutely Zero financial ties and Zero policies which dictate/nudge the behavior of the priest and his church?
