Simple question, do you think that you have your shit together in life? I feel that i only partially have my shit together as I have some very vague goals but at the same time procrastinate the living hell out of everything I do.

if you have low standards, you can never disappoint yourself.

Though, Es had high expectations about my penis being quite large in both length and girth and I never disappointed her.

On somedays, I forget where I left my shit, but whenever I take my shit, I remember why I left it there.

I did before the economy **** the bed. Thank god my house was already bought and paid for. Just wish I didn't have so much in the market. I lost about 150k and have barely gotten back 70. My house is worth about 30k less. Hopefully within the next 10 years I will have enough of it back and costs of goods wont go through the roof and I will still be able to retire at 50.

Lets see, I'm making more than I ever though I would with no college degree. Own a house (well in about 26 years it will be mine). I will be able to retire at 54. My income to debt ratio is in my favor. The only thing I'm looking forward to is moving south and leaving the cold NY winters behind me. :D

I always keep it together. I don't know why you would bother separating it in the first place.

Not for any impending world catastrophe, I need to buy some guns and ammo and some sort of water filtration device.

Nor do I have my shit together in the traditional sense. Just a regular neckbeard living in my parent's basement larding away on the internet.

Nor are my shits together. Eating nothing but hot pockets dipped in texas pete and drinking mountain dew will do that though.

I voted yes, but I may have to change my vote because of the results of Saxi's "are you prepared for apocalypse" thread.

Everything is going to pieces and I play CC to hide from it.
However I did go to a cafe called Prufrock yesterday which occasioned me to re-read The Love Song of J Alfred Prufrock and reflect on how like the eponymous hero of that poem I have become, which thought made me bizarrely happy, perhaps because it is better to have heard the mermaids singing each to each than never to have heard them singing at all.

I got that part out of the way about 3 years ago. Best decision I ever made. I haven't picked up a shovel in 3 years. I bbq for New Years and mow until December! Annual property taxes $987. In NY on a house of the same value $3051.

Mow until December? Looks like I'm moving to Greenland.

My taxes are $4000! I can retire in about 13 years then its goodbye NY! It might be possible for me to leave NY in about 4 years after my youngest graduates. I just have to find a nice place to go.

What part of NY are you in? We moved to NC and once you get used to the slow pace it really is one of the best places in the country

The Finger Lakes, south of Rochester-west of Syracuse. Yeah, the Carolina's were in the running. I visited Miami in 07 and loved it but not sure I want to live in such a populated area. Thinking large town or small city. And of course state laws and such have to be taken into consideration.
