You don't need a top in the Big Apple

Sometimes, the strangest things are found in the conservative forums. I found this in the general section of Sean Hannity's forums.

The following video (completely G rated) talks about this young woman and her crusade to show to the peple of New York City that technically, under the law in the city, it is not illegal for women to go topless.

(Yea, but you still can't buy a big gulp.)

Honestly, I find it a bit gross for either gender to be out in public topless...

Not if they look like her!
(Yeah, I know she's not a "10" but she appears to be in pretty decent shape.)

The point being... I don't think we're gonna get a bunch of 40-50 yo women with "saggies" going out and being activists like this.

On a serious note...
1) If men can go topless, women should be able to as well.
2) Yeah, in many public places it might be "gross" or "inappropriate"... but I can think of times when it would be fine or more comfortable; the beach, the pool, hot days doing yard work, at the park laying out and relaxing for a bit, on a jog (possibly.. for men or small breasted women).

It's not even close to a double standard. Women's boobs are, similar to el vagina or the brown eye, an object of sexual attraction. Men's tits aren't.

I could care less if they go topless, I just hate how some women act like they're second-rate citizens.

A naked male top is an object of sexual attraction to...
1) Women
2) Gay Men

It is a double standard.

Not really.

I mean, I guess, but to some guys women's feet are an object of sexual attraction but that's just trivializing the phrase.

A guy's chest has very little to do with sexual reproduction while a women's chest does (you know, breastfeeding and shit).

By that logic, we should all be able to wear assless chaps in public, right?

If so, I fucking am buying like, 20 pairs. Maybe saxi will let me borrow his.

You do that AOG.

The bottom line is that IF WE WANT TO CLAIM WE ARE A COUNTRY OF EQUAL RIGHTS FOR THE SEXES, then we must have laws that don't discriminate based on an individual's sex.

If it's gonna be about what turns people on or off subjectively... or maybe grosses people out.

Then fat men should also be required by law to wear shirts at all times.

I work in NYC and yesterday morning around 8am she sat in my local train and she got of at Union Square station. I couldn't believe my eyes and she just calmly walked up the stairs like it was perfectly normal. Fisrt I thought she ws nuts but later that day I found out it was about some gender equality thing.
