Cowboys are now 9-0 with a big comeback win against Illinois State University. Were down by 19 at one point, and ended up winning by 14. Cowboy's 2nd half defense just grinds down on offenses big time.

The #3 Wolverines are now 8-0 after their 73-41 victory over Western Michigan. Point guard Trey Burke continues to impress, leading the way with 20 points, to go along with 7 assists and 3 steals. Michigan's next game is Saturday when they host the Arkansas Razorbacks at noon. GO BLUE!

UNM remains undefeated after knocking off USC, BSU gets boat raced by Utah giving "one for the gipper," and CSU falls to in-state rival CU.

Gotta feel bad for that Louisville player. Awful landing after a jumpshot completely snapped his leg.

That compound fracture is as ugly a scene as I've ever seen
on a basketball court. He's laying there with a bone sticking
six inches out of his shin telling his teamates to...
Win the Game!
Only three games remain and all the remaining teams
were impressive in the Elite Eight.
I still have 3 teams alive on my brackets...
if Ohio State had pulled that game out I'd have four.
My Championship pick is Louisville over Syracuse.

It's a shame Kevin Ware won't play in the Final Four, since he is actually from Atlanta. The broken leg is actually the same injury Louisville running back Michael Bush suffered and he is playing in the NFL, but it's a very slow mending injury. Surgeons say it is likely that Ware's leg was already fractured before this happened, as stress fractures are common with basketball players.
I'm anticipating a Louisville/Michigan final...
but the Cuse is good too.

And UNM's former HC may have to pay up $1 million due to contract issues.

Dammit Serbia, really?
Anyways, both were really tight games, but the refs destroyed any chance WSU had of tying the game up with that "jump ball" call in the final seconds. Not saying WSU would have won, but that should have either been a penalty on Louisville or ignored altogether.

Both games had tight calls in the last minute; (1) the jump ball call was quick, possession arrow to Louisville and (2) the charge called against Syracuse, a tight call, but replay showed the Michigan player was outside the restricted zone, but his feet were not set.
I thought the Shockers had the Cardinal's number, pushing them to the limit and forcing Louisville to go all out for the last 12 minutes to catch 'em. The Wolverine's foul shooting in the final minutes opened the door for the Orangemen and it almost got away from them.
The Monday night final should be another good one.
