Should the Risk minigame thing be closed?

Postby Haggis_McMutton on Tue Jun 25, 2013 3:24 am

You know how there's a risk-clone minigame we can play when we get tired of posting on the forums? I haven't played it for ages.

It seems kind of pointless. I'm thinking maybe it should be closed and then the developers could focus all their efforts on improving the forum experience.

What do you guys think?

I honestly have no idea what you're talking about.

I've always thought they should replace that with a chess game.

You probably haven't noticed it.
You can access it with the left, upper-most menu. See "My games", "Join a Game", "Start a Game" and so on. They have a bunch of maps and settings and everything.
Seems like a whole bunch of wasted effort to me.

Your story checks out.
I'm proud to have won your most recent game.

It's a veritable conquest.

That minigame is far less interesting than doing hard hitting investigative journalism on the forums.

dude, this thread blew my mind.

i finally know what the "conquer" means in "conquer club"!

i thought it was a reference to conquering people who disagree with you in meaningless debates.

I think it probably causes more suffering than joy in the long run and agree that it should probably be closed.

Since the RISK minigame players keep ruining the forum, it's time to take this suggestion seriously.

Wow, never saw it before. If it detracts from joining as paying or productive members it should go. Problem though...the creator is...BigWham. Removing your own creation would be tough. Not sure if it ads to the bottom line.
