The election Countdown Thread

Now that the Ontario byelection is done, I can fully devote my time to other upcoming elections. Let's see what we have coming up. Libya is electing 60 people - 20 each from Cyrenaica, Tripolitania and Fezzan - to draft a new constitution. See my signature for the best quote on the matter.

March 9th, things get hairy. El Salvador does their lame runoff elecction.

Colombia has a pretty epic one that day.

The most important upcoming election is North Korea, also on March 9th.

Who do you think will win? Do you think this year will have better election coverage on CNN? Have you been following the candidate interviews? Is it true that Rand Paul loves North Korea more than America?

Ok, all the elections are over.

Colombia had some cool stuff.
Party of the U won 21 of 102 seats in the Senate and 39 of 164 in the Parliament, so they are the leading party. That means "U" are a Colombian senator. Yay.
My personal favorite, the Independent Movement of Absolute Renovation won 3 seats in the Parliament. For a better Huila (actual party name) won 1 seat as well.
Huila is a department (state/province) of Colombia. Here is the Coat of Arms:

El Salvador is mired in controversy as the election was 50.11 percent in favor of Sanchez over Quijano. I will let you decide who is more honest from these videos (which I sold, but I made illegal copies before I did bwah ha ha):

On one hand, I love singing along with NORMAN PRESIDENTE. On the other, I am loving the double V for Victory dance going on in the Sanchez video. Who do you think should have won?

And now....

What you have all been waiting for...

The results of North Korea's election:

KIM JONG UN WINS 100% of the votes!!!

Everybody loves him, he is so great!!!
