Yeah, if you go to 3:30 of the first episode of Fraggle Rock, you'll hear Travelin' Matt describe Fraggle Rock as "The Center Of The Universe" and the Fraggles as a "Noble Race" being fearless, dignified, and intellectual. The Fraggles "represent the very pinnacle of civilization and culture". And then Travelin' Adolf Matt goes on to say that the Fraggles are "the very best of all possible creatures" and that they also possess "uncanny curiosity and great athletic ability".

Even though Uncle Matt seems like a goofy puppet, he does seem to be symbolizing some fascist aspects. He does wear a brown shirt after all.

But as far as the Fraggles treating the Doozers like shit I don't think makes them racist. You have to see the overall Communist agenda to understand the evil that has formed the Fraggles.

The Communists wish for a perfect, child-like Utopia...a so-called "pinnacle of civilization" as described earlier. A pinnacle of perfection in which we as humans (represented as Fraggles) no longer have to want or need within our societal constructs. However, that "pinnacle" is not a fascist world view; but a Communist one. The Fraggles represent this perfected Communist Utopia, the final product of the final World War.

Which now brings us to the Doozers and what they represent.

Image

The Doozer represents the bearers and bringers of Communism to the world. They are the workers. They are the leaders. They are the nations and peoples that have bore the brunt and pain to keep the Communist Light alive so that YOU (the "Fraggles") can enjoy the new, perfect Utopia that is the higher, civilized manifestation of socialism at its finest.

Travelin' Matt, Outerspace (our current reality), The Shopkeeper, and Sprocket all represent the aspects of fascism in our current culture; whereas, the Fraggle represents the culture the Communists want to eventually establish. The Doozers represent the underlying Communist Comrades and Martyrs that built the "framework" for this future "Fraggle Rock" civilization that is yet to come. Thusly why the Fraggles think nothing about destroying the Doozers buildings, and thusly why the Doozers could care less about them doing so. The Doozers are the Communists of the past and this very present, while the Fraggles are the Communists that are yet to come. The future Commies!

I hope this explains why the Fraggles are so fucking Communist!

Aren't the fraggles like so 1980's? I think they might even pre-date pokemon and my little pony

I think My Little Pony came out at about the same time. I remember going camping with my grandparents in their RV and playing with a little girl who had some. That was probably 1984 or so. I *think* MLP predates Transformers, maybe by a year or two.

Sounds more like 'demurrrcracy' than communism.

And before you ask, no I don't think democracy and communism are opposing concepts.

Anyhow, what you describe here sounds a whole lot more like Nazism than communism, not that I picked up on that when I was 5.

Perhaps it's the final merger between the two political philosophies. Fascism and Communism...becoming one! Commascism!
