I am 24.5% obese. Seems a bit high, but who am I to argue with pics on the web?

France has the whole cool guy thing going though. The local police have busted each other smuggling french cheese over the border. Nobody smuggles reconstituted astronaut food covered in overpriced toppings.

yes we are fat, but then we have so many good things to eat and drink, it's not our fault we make some of the worlds best wines and cheeses as well as all the prime beef/pork and lamb and fresh seafood

lol i hadn't read your crap. So what are all those sports you beat france at? Am I missing something? I just know of one sport you guys are good at, rugby (2-1 for france in the past 4 world cups, so you can't even brag about that). Where does new zealand stand after each olympics? .

so given that the olympics have about every sport possible I think it's the best thing to compare how much you kick our ass in every sporting event:
london 2012:
france 6th with 13 gold, 14 silver and 11 bronze
new zeland: 46th, 1 gold 3 bronze.

olympic winter sports maybe?
sotchi 2014:
france 10th with 4 gold, 4 silver 7 bronze
new zealand is unranked with 0 medals

Where were you guys last summer for the world cup? too much ice cream dude, stop making a fool of yourself.

regarding food: you guys probably make very good food (just know your lamb and wine that aren't bad), but I think we have some very good products here too, doesn't mean we have no limits on when to stop.

I don't think you are allowed to act as if a team which has been beaten by Italy is even fit to carry the All Blacks' kit bags.

well we've just beaten australia this week end! are they allowed to carry the all black's bags? ;)
USA has lost 6 to 74 vs new zealand 2 weeks ago, so does that mean that NZ kicks USA's ass at every sport?
We are are far from being the best rugby team and NZ is superior. We are just very inconsistent and can beat any team as we can be beaten by inferior teams. When italy beat us in 2013 they also beat ireland (and Ireland won the 2014 6 nations). Nevertheless, Italy has already beaten all teams but england in the 6 nations cup, and they have only been participating since 2000. It's a good thing if they are becoming more and more competitive (although in 2014 they lost all 5 matches).

Olympic Gold medals per Capita

7 New Zealand 42 Population 4,432,620 gold medal for every 105,538 persons
23 France 202 Population 65,350,000 gold medal for every 323,514 persons
so NZ is 3 to 1 gold medals ahead of France per Capita

Total Olympic medals per Capita

12 New Zealand 99 4,432,620 44,773
23 France 670 65,350,000 97,537

As For 2012 London Games

New Zealand competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, from 27 July to 12 August 2012. This was the nation's twenty-fourth appearance at the Olympics. The New Zealand Olympic Committee sent 184 athletes, 97 men, and 87 women to the Games to compete in 16 sports, the nation's largest ever delegation.
New Zealand left London with a total of thirteen medals (six gold, two silver, and five bronze), finishing fifteenth in the overall medal standings.
New Zealand also ranked highly in medal tables adjusted for country populations, placing fourth for total medals per capita, gold medals per capita and weighted medals per capita

France competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, between 27 July and 12 August 2012. French athletes have competed in every Summer Olympic Games of the modern era. The French Olympic Committee sent a total of 330 athletes to the Games, 183 men and 147 women, to compete in 24 sports.
France left London with a total of 34 medals – 11 gold, 11 silver, and 12 bronze – finishing seventh in the gold medal standings and eighth in the overall medal standings

Gold medal count, per 1,000,000 population, final count (revised 14 August after medal upgrade), London 2012 Olympic Games
New Zealand was 4th, France was not in the Top 10

Medal count, per 1,000,000 population, final count (revised 14 August after medal upgrade), London 2012 Olympic Games
New Zealand was 4th, France was not in the Top 10

as for Winter Olympic medal Count France 14th NZ 44th, France has competed 22 times but NZ only 15 times so give us a little time to catch up

So a country of only 4,432,620 fat obese people can run circles around a country with 65,350,000 skinny French people

Please do not be a FOOL and get your facts right Betiko don't be so full of BS

iamcaffine i have posted a meter to make it easy for you to understand betiko's post, but if you need a clearer explanation i will happy send you one

special mention about Rugby- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Zealand_national_rugby_union_team
The All Blacks have won 42 Tests against France's 12, with one match drawn. The largest winning margin in a Test between the countries was a 61–10 victory to the All Blacks at Westpac Stadium in Wellington in 2007.

NZ has won the Rugby world cup Twice, France have never won it

In over a hundred years of rugby, the All Blacks hold an 84% winning record against all opposition played. They have also won 74% of all test matches played, and hold a winning record against EVERY TEST NATION IN THE WORLD (including the British & Irish Lions, and the World XV).

Romania (the best team in Eastern Europe), Canada (the best team in North America), Japan (the best in Asia), and other World Rugby Heavyweights Ireland, Scotland, Italy, Argentina, Samoa, and Fiji have never beaten New Zealand.

are they the best sports team ever???

that sounds like al lot of reading, I'll pass. i just looked at what you wrote in red; i guess there's a lot of other sports you forgot to ad such as team karaoke, under 12 croquet, 6 year old swing competition, ice cream eating competition and sheep shagging?

Smegal, do you reallly want to get into a pissing contest with France on wine and cheese, mate?!?

There's some top-notch artisanal ice cream in France, you find it in small shops, but the quality of the supermarket stuff like Magnum is average because multinationals have bought up the local mid-sized brands like Gervais and Miko, you now have a handful of global conglomerates like Unilever, Nestle and Kraft that control what's in supermarkets all over Europe and N America with quality driven down. The ice cream bars I grew up with are no longer there.

So far France has lost to Macedonia and Dairy Queen ... at this rate I think the next thread is going to be "France vs. Old Tire I Found in the Alley."

and we may still lose ! but that'll be fine if it's a michelin one.

about the ice cream, or gelato for whoever wants to look more sophisticated :), from what i know it's an arabic then italian (sicilian) tradition then developed at the beginning in France, and to be honest, the italian's ones are the best i have tasted so far, and i travelled quite a lot...
all conditions in Sicily are (and were) good: there was sun to grow all sorts of fruits and nuts, mountain to get snow, salt and sugar cane

a short version,in english here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gelato, a more complete one, in italian here http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gelato

Hong Kong used to have a few Dairy Queens here, but they suffered the same fate as Wendy's and Krispy Kreme and closed up shop. They're alive and kicking in the mainland, though. Thailand, too.

Ben and Jerry's and Haagen-Dazs stores seem to do quite well, though. Although I do love me a Blizzard, they're not really in the same ball park.
