This year,
286 bills passed by Congress and signed into law by President Obama, the second lowest number in history.
Of those, 51 were signed on December 18 and 56 is the
Number of laws passed in the 113th Congress that do nothing other than rename federal buildings, roads, or bridges (including 38 post offices)
The Congress should set goals. Since Botswana is the only true democracy, emulating their parliament is a good idea. They haven't uploaded any results from bills passed since 2012. So, until the US congress reaches 2 full years of no passed bills, there is still work to be done. I think one year of repealing bills is worth two of doing nothing.
