No, Charizard is Fire-Flying.
Mega Charizard is Fire-Dragon.
The Dragon type is a very specific one, in that all dragon moves were special (they were magical creatures) and charizard is more mundane than that.

It's a fire pokemon with one or two dragon moves.
My Dragonite, on the other hand, was 100% dragon and 100% badass.
