That's also an American thing. People here say 'fourteenth of March'.

Well then it makes sense why we would use the format we do. It's like you driving on the wrong side of road and steering cars from the wrong side. It's appropriate to the usage of the culture. So there.

In the same way you don't start locating a house by starting at the address number, you start by narrowing down to the street, then looking for the house number.

I just make people visit me at my house because I cba to travel.

Hm, now if only there were a word for the type of young foreign woman who entertains frequent visitors at her flophouse...

You're probably right there.

How's that saying go? "If I were smart, how come I ain't rich?"

If I were smart, I would've done things a lot differently years ago, but I ain't, so I didn't.

you can still be a male prostitute.

you could charge 20 dls a per bj, do 10 of those per day on weekdays, 15 per day on the weekends. that's more than 6000 per month, tax free.

Sure. If I can earn 6000 bucks a month working for you then I could have my pilot license by May. Sounds good to me.

Wonder how much money she'll make when she's like 35-40 and sagging.

There is a market for everything. Even wrinklies. Bouncing at a strip club, had a lot of adult industry publications around, got bored on the slow nights, so read a lot of inane drivel. Notice that there were brothels boasting all "girls" over the age of 40, could afford to advertise frequently, so must be a market. Yes prostitution is legal in Australia.

No, that is only a private license. You would need to spend another 20 000 minimum to get a commercial one. Then probably more to get instrument rated, multi engine rated...

Once you finally get to fly as a job, you will likely start at less than minimum wage because they will only pay you for flight time, even though there are going to be tons of things you will be doing before and after flights.

Also even after you get the license you have to fly every second month to stay current. Even if you own a plane $30 000+ by the time you rent a hanger or parking spot at an airport, maintenance, fuel, oil, charts... It is forever costing money.

But yeah, I don't have much of a defense for the imperial system. Its only strength is that units are regular, usage sized, like for cooking. A cup is a reasonable amount which one can guesstimate, but I have no idea how many mLs that is, nor how to approximate multiple hundreds of mLs.

I would say "fourteenth of March". It always sounds weird when people say it the other way around. And if I was giving someone my address, I'd put the house number first.

This is a good thing, hope we get one today. Might get Lemon Meringue.

I don't know how this slipped by.

Atlas is still spectacular but we rarely make the trip, also it is only a sports bar so we need to be without the children.

I never discovered Atlas until just after grad.

Dover Pizza back in the 1970s in the original location was quite a bit better possibly as good as Atlas but that era is long gone. We managed to go to the one on Memorial Drive around 8 years ago and were disappointed. Now the original location I think is still Sammy's Bar, probably only been there twice since and last time was likely in the last century.

I have not been to Bonasara since 1999 either. It also is only a sports bar presumably with the same menu. I keep thinking I should drag my dad over at lunch sometime but he pretty much lives at Phil's.

Doner on a pizza is good, but I generally prefer something like ground beef and jalapenos.

My first choice is veggitarian. You need to start putting on the weird stuff like white sauce to completely ruin a pizza for me.

I don't like mushrooms but on pizza and lasagne they are ok. My wife despises mushrooms much more. Her and the daughter usually want one of those heavy meat pizzas. We can all agree on pepperoni but that's not a good idea so I try to avoid it.

Sausage can be spectacular but not everywhere. I like to add it to a veggie pizza sometimes. Or sausage, green peppers, onion and olives. If the place doesn't have good sausage, ground beef or pepperoni works.

Llama, ever have Coco Brooks? I like their pizzas, usually one of the spicy chicken but also the Cheeseburger is great.

The original was near the Motocross track by the Blackfoot Inn. They moved to Blackfoot Trail up the hill on the other side from Cash Casino but on the corner beside the building that used to house Blackfoot Cycle. Is that 44th ave?

They also have a location on 32nd ave NE near 18th street.
