By focusing on a few propagandized sound bites and avoiding confronting substantive issues, the Party and its leader have been able to develop a strong, loyal support base, emboldening them to encourage the rule of law to be subverted and to pursue a clamping down on UN standards of human rights. With freedoms being subverted and the general populace oppressed by a brutal paramilitary security apparatus, it is clear that the Party's motto of 'freedom and democracy' is nothing more than a facade, design to distract the populace from the increasingly unfair and oppressive government they live under.

The chants of "Lock her up" directed at Hillary Clinton have been a nightly feature of the Republican convention in Cleveland. Is that fair enough or a new political low?
Many of the speakers have focused more on the faults of Hillary Clinton than the virtues of Donald Trump.
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie read out a list of alleged "crimes" by Mrs Clinton, the presumptive Democratic nominee, and asked the crowd if she was guilty. His baiting of the crowd resulted in chants of "Lock her up!"
The divisive and at times ugly rhetoric - a charge directed at both sides during the campaign - is not particularly shocking to long-time political observers, but some say it is worse than ever.

We rated that statement False, for lack of evidence. The Washington Post Fact Checker said a link did not "appear to exist."
