Indeed. The whole thing was a fix. Clinton clearly went in knowing that there would be questions about the economy, and about foreign and domestic policy. Trump should have been told that those questions would be asked.

That's why the option is there- for those disinterested intellectually, as well as for folks whose intellects are otherwise interested.

How is choosing between few horrible candidates a democracy?

This is Democracy:
1. Trump
2. Hillary
3. None of above

Only 3 is the democratic choice, 1 and 2 are just too horrible.
