Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) condemned the shooting of a Republican representative and several others by a man who volunteered for his presidential campaign. The gunfire occurred at a GOP practice for the annual charity congressional baseball game.
Five people were shot and injured on Wednesday morning, including House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-Louisiana), during the final practice for the charity baseball game. The gunman, identified as James T. Hodgkinson, campaigned for Sanders in Iowa, ahead of the first-in-the-nation caucuses in February 2016.

The ultra-violent anti-Trump "resistance" rhetoric has caused wild-eyed supporters of Sanders and Clinton to weirdly imagine themselves as part of the French Resistance. This is the expected outcome of their ranting and conspiracy theories. They should be jailed!

It turns out the Pro-Sanders Gunman had a history of crazed violence dating back a decade, and was known to Sanders when Sanders accepted him as a staffer:

He was the foster father of at least two girls. The first, Wanda Ashley Stock, 17, committed suicide in 1996 by pouring gasoline on herself and setting herself on fire after a few months of living with the Hodgkinsons, the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

In 2002, Hodgkinson became the foster father of another girl whom he allegedly abused, according to police records.

In 2006, he was arrested for domestic battery and discharge of a firearm after he stormed into a neighbor’s home where his teenage foster daughter was visiting with a friend. In a skirmish, he punched his foster daughter’s then 19-year-old friend Aimee Moreland “in the face with a closed fist,” according to a police report reviewed by The Daily Beast. When Moreland’s boyfriend walked outside of the residence where Moreland and Hodgkinson’s foster daughter were, he allegedly aimed a shotgun at the boyfriend and later fired one round. The Hodgkinsons later lost custody of that foster daughter.

Hodgkinson also called for the impeachment of Trump.

Anyone who calls for the impeachment of Trump is now echoing the mantra of a child abusing assassin.

Now, more than ever, it's important Karen Handel be elected over Jon Ossoff in next week's congressional special election in Georgia. Now that the Clintonistas have shown their desperation and started targeted assassinations It's important the National Reorganization be sped up so it passes the point of no return sooner. Otherwise the anti-Trump crazies, violence and hate win.

The President needs to deal swiftly and mercilessly with these types so that innocent women and children are protected. This man was just the tip of the iceberg.

Well, if we're getting all pedantic about this, Bernie Sanders, the politician, is not a political party, so the response to "Bernie Sanders", the CC member, was a non sequitur. If you want to be honest, you could admit that Jared Loughner was a far-right nut who shot Gabrielle Giffords because of her liberal politics, and GoranZ's response that you don't see Republicans doing this was a lie. Republicans are very fond of pinning the RINO label on those who call themselves Republicans, but stray to the left of the strict party line, so I don't think it's unjustified to pin a "Republican" label on Loughner after he starts spouting tea party rhetoric, and decides to try a "Second Amendment Remedy" to effect political change.

As the most recent shooting shows, "Second Amendment Remedies" are not the exclusive property of one ideology or another, and Bernie (CC Member) was correct when he said "We got crazies in all political parties." But it's not the Democrats who are trying to make sure that the "crazies" can have all the guns they want.

Edit: And it's not the Democratic leadership who has been telling people for years that this is an acceptable way to deal with political problems.

Trump should step down to avoid any further outbreaks of violence. it's the right thing to do, anything less would be selfish.

Or maybe Bernie Sanders should refrain him self from public appearances, so he wont provoke his supporters. Look how much agitated is our own Bernie Sanders for example.

Ergo, I think it's reasonable to expect you would draw the above conclusion, as well.
