Alright, I'm desperate, I'm down on my knees begging, I have exhausted all my other contacts...where are all the bloody IBM/Lenovo employees when you need an EPP login!!!

Does anyone know anyone who knows anyone who knows someone who might be able to help me out?

I'm sick of running off my crapy old CostCo Celeron that I had to upgrade from 64mb (do you know how hard it is to fine pc-100 ram these days????) of ram just to get it to boot into windows.

HELP!!!!

Thanks <smile>

(p.s. no, I dont want a dell, laptops need to be able to take a beating around me, I'm a putz)

I travel a lot, I beat the crap out of my computers, and they need to be light.

the only computers that can take the kind of beatings I give out are the thinkpads. great computers, just a little pricey.

I'm trying to get my hands on a z61t, 4.8 pounds, core duo, bluetooth, wifi, fingerprint etc etc etc. only currently avail to employees, family and "friends" ;)

ah thank you thank you.

I have been drooling over this laptop and balking over my bank account for too long.

Ahh the joys of being a student :)

no no, not "guy"..."nerd". Real men drool over girls, fast cars and beer cans, I prefer to drool over women, gadgets and orange juice ;)

If she can't track one down for you, **gives Twill a small ukulele and a large sombrero** Perhaps you can peddle music on street to raise funds for something decent? :)

erm...is this one of those "pay me to shut up" kinda deals there andy?

Not sure hurting people's eardrums is a good way to raise cash ;)

That being said, I might be able to sell the ukewhatever and hat to get a little more RAM ;)

lol, I have one like that :)

Took it backpacking with me on a trip and it got crushed under a large metal milk jug in a bus, was in the middle of a college application on it as well :)
