US migrant camps: even CIA thinks they're too harsh

Postby mrswdk on Tue Jun 19, 2018 12:42 pm

Former CIA head Michael Hayden, who oversaw the routine illegal kidnap, torture and assassination of foreign nationals as a CIA director, has released a statement condemning the American government's institutionalized abuse of human rights at its immigrant interment camps.

US Attorney General Sessions has responded that the US camps are different to Nazi concentration camps because they are used to house immigrants rather than citizens, and are therefore fine.

Mr Sessions was asked on Fox News about a tweet by former CIA Director Michael Hayden likening what happened at Auschwitz concentration camp, where millions of Jews and other minorities were killed, to the separation of undocumented immigrant families at the US border.

"Well, it's a real exaggeration, of course," the Department of Justice chief said in Monday night's interview.

"In Nazi Germany, they were keeping the Jews from leaving the country."

I find all the fuss about the americans separating families hypocritical to the max.

Why doesnt anyone other than a couple independent journalists that can only get coverage from foreign news sources even talk about the children the americans burn using chemical weapons or the spreading of diseases such as cholera to commit the genocides they are doing right now.
How about the children they shell from ships or support Israel shooting to wound?

Geez lets not mention the 500 thousand children they killed in Iraq, except were told that was "worth it"........ absolutely sickening.

Hypocrites.
Those kids in those "cages" are the lucky ones in comparison.

You are correct to point out that the USA has a long and chequered history of abusing the rights of the whole world's people, including the brazen mass murder of anyone who stands in the way of their political agenda.

However, this thread is specifically about their Nazi-esque family separation camps.

I think americans are the only people on earth that dont know what their government is doing around the world.
The majority anyway, I know a few that do.

M Albright and Hillory Clinton both said it was "worth it".

Again, we have to go to foreign news to find info.

Aint all this freedom of the press great?? lol

Just fyi Bernie, the americans have killed over 30 million people since the 2nd world war, they use chemical weapons everywhere and anywhere they want and torture?.....they do it just for fun.

Not that its going to stop any time soon, its just these people pretending to get all upset about how these kids are being treated just kinda wafts the stench of hypocrisy.

Maybe its finally time for americans to become conscious of what they do.
That would be nice.

Leave your kids in a hot car for an hour you get arrested. If you take your kids out into the hot Texas rattlesnake invested desert for a week with only 1 gallon of water you should loose your kids.

Roaming around in a rattlesnake-infested desert may be dangerous, but standing in front of a death squad in El Salvador is far worse.

I'll bet if you were in that position you'd take a chance on hitting the road north and finding a new life, whatever the cost.

Not sure that standing in front of an American death squad is somehow better than standing in front of a Salvadorian one.

American death squads use only American made ammunition, so it's better for my job security that they stand in front of an American squad!

Kids put in cages and sleeping on the floor, ripped from breastfeeding, and crying for help while ICE officers mock them, that's not un-Christian or Christian (despite what White House and DoJ people say). It's just evil.

If only the US had free and fair elections, instead of gerrymandered representative seats that render elections basically pointless. A democratically elected government would never get away with this, they would be held to account.
