really the title says it all, the site really is getting sad. in alot of forms. sad. hello and good bye CC

Jack, maybe you should give the site a pep talk, or at least a hug and console it so it isn't sad anymore!

I'd like to give these to the site. to help cheer it up.

this is an excellent case of study of how high, unrealistic expectations can turn into a long term mild depression.

that's why the song (in spanish) says something like "if you don't want to be an idiot, don't feed yourself unrealistic expectations"

jack was a perfectly normal individual, a bit boring of course, but that's with most people who won't show their real personality because they are trying to get liked by the rest of the sheep. there are some exceptions with some who really have awful personalities like FunkyTerrance and pimpdave, but normally people have an ok personality. so, jack only problem was he was a bit boring.

i know the llama nicknamed him jick, but the other nickname for jack that's been circulating a bit is "cheers" jack.

anyway, jack's problem started around june 20, when he foolishly started too believe that england would win the WC. "it's coming home lads" you'd hear him repeat over and over.

See? This right here was getting interesting. Then you gave up. Kinda like CC.

You saw the site at its apex. It was starting to catch a glimpse of a former shadow of itself when I joined. Now? It’s just a site. Neither here nor there. Still some cool people around and there are some interesting things that happen in various corners I’m guessing, but the Cult of CC faided away moons ago.

Jack was just expressing his grief at unrequited hope. I can relate. I just never learn.
