Both metaphorically (the rot) and literally (the weak pussies). The haters who have spent the last 3 years achieving absolutely nothing are now jumping overboard* to make way for a leadership team with some actual vision.

Congratulations to Bozza and congratulations to hope, positive vibes, and a real leader.

Oddly enough, when Gordon Brown replaced Tony Blair without an election, Boris screamed about how undemocratic it was - a "place coup" he called it.

jones prefers leaders whose world view and opinions are fixed at the age of 18 and then never, ever change from thereon out.

Boris was 33 at the time.

He also said that Trump's stupefying ignorance made him unfit for the office of President. Trump seems to have forgotten that one.

Also:
After writing a number of columns condemning Theresa May’s withdrawal treaty, arguing it would reduce the UK to a “vassal state” or “colony” of the EU, Mr Johnson backed the bill on its third vote in March 2019.

Boris was 33 at the time.

18 years ago, before he even became an MP.

"When Boris was 7 he said his favourite food was pizza, but now he says it's roast beef. What a hypocrite!"

it should not be the UK’s priority to ensure there is “no border” between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland

...and...

there can be no return to a hard border. There can be no hard border. That would be unthinkable, and it would be economic and political madness

he said it was “absolutely crazy” the EU was setting rules on the shape of bananas, - shown to be nonsense as long ago as 1994.

TG is funded by Radio Free Asia to mercilessly and unscrupulously smear me. Ignored.

Funnily enough the BBC was talking about how Boris was changing things from talking to preparing to fight. I guess they might be right, however it's not the EU he's going to fight. It'll be his own parliament.

I totally ignored Johnson until yesterday, so I did a bit of reading to catch up my knowledge of him.

Based on what I read (and granted, it's a couple hours of reading, not a Master's Thesis) I'm cautiously optimistic. He's conservative, but more intelligent than you typical conservative and not an extremist. He seems to be able to consider other points of view.
