Has anyone suggested that blacks commit crimes at a higher RATE than whites? Could that explain why more blacks get arrested, interact with police, have more deadly and/or negative encounters with police?
In the case of bicycle helmets, has anyone analyzed data to even see if blacks actually violate that law or regulation at higher levels, and hence get citations at a higher rate?
Even in the George Floyd case (which was murder by the police office now on [jury selection phase of] trial, imo , he is shown RESISTING going into the police car. And why was the police there? He was accused or suspected of a crime, as I recall.
From what I have seen, blacks are more likely to resist arrest and show police disrespect. I think that this is not true of ALL blacks, but there is a segment of the population for whom this applies accurately. They embrace the "Gangsta" image and lifestyle. And while I am racial stereotyping, I will suggest that Asian-Americans are more likely to obey police and societal norms, more so that the general white population.
From many of the incident of so-called or alleged "bad police actions" there is the element of crime: Michael Brown, Breonna Taylor, Trayvon Martin, Eric Gardner, and more. As I recall, Breonna Taylor's FORMER boyfriend was suspected of dealing illegal drugs from her home/apartment. That is the reason for the search where she was unfortunately killed when her current boyfriend fired shots at the police.
Whom do people call when there is a public disturbance by a bad guy or bad person? The Social Worker? The mental health expert?

Lindo suggested each police officer keep
at least 10 helmets in his or her trunk

And when they don't wear their free helmets they'll change the law to fit. Then when people die, they'll say give them free cars. Then when they don't pay their insurance, they'll say we'll pay it for you. Then when they don't adhere to the laws of the road......and on and on, until chaos
