Which one would you rather, all other things being equal?

3. Sit through a fat-lesbian-pirate play that looks very gay?

Aside from that, I like it. Needs a little polishing, but good. I did put a lot of thought into mine, though, so I’m not really comparing.

Both choices suck...literally.

Back in my younger years (about 35 years old) my 2nd ex-wife wanted to see the play/musical "Oklahoma!" I was able to get a table right in front of the stage. It included dinner and drinks.

Long story short....I kept on falling asleep and the wife hitting me to keep me awake. She was furious and totally pissed off for days.

I hate plays and musicals! I'm more into rock/punk bands with the aroma of beer, cigarettes, vomit and pot in the air.

And, unsurprisingly, your understanding of the word 'literal' is iffy, at best...
While 'turning gay' might very well literally suck, it is highly unlikely that sitting through a play would literally be so...

If you did sit through a play that literally sucked, I would posit that you actually attended an extreme, live-sex, burlesque, probably in some benighted town with neither cabaret laws nor a vice squad.

Yeah, if we're talking going gay or going to a musical, I pick going to a musical every day.

If we're talking going gay or going to a play ... it depends on the play and it also depends on how gay. If it's a choice between some avant garde production that Gavin Newsom is the producer on or topping Rege-Jean Page --- I'd go gay any day of the week than sit through that crap. If it's a choice between a good production of Henry V and slogging off Steve Buscemi, then absolutely the play.

In my younger days I was in the production crew of our local production of Oklahoma!

Truly a great time. And even though I was up on the catwalk and not down on the stage, I couldn't help joining in on the songs.

I've been to my share of punk rock shows also. One does not exclude the other. You don't have to give up one kind of art because you prefer another.

I´d watch something like Beetlejuice when you seat me right beside Lauren Bobert. This could make it exciting.

Anyone ever been to an Air Guitar Championship?

I went to The Metro in Chicago to a Punk Rock IPA Beer Event which a bunch of aging musicians and singers played some great music.

I never saw a Air Guitar player before, but Justin Nordic (Chicago native) played his air guitar and I have to say I laughed so hard I felt like I just pumped out 200 sit ups! I believe the hash oil I smoked had nothing to do with it.
