The U.S. state of Kansas on Monday sued Pfizer accusing the company of misleading the public about its COVID-19 vaccine by hiding risks while making false claims about its effectiveness.
In a lawsuit filed in the District Court of Thomas County, the state said the New York-based drugmaker's alleged false statements violated the Kansas Consumer Protection Act. It is seeking unspecified money damages.

It's now been five years, roughly, since the onset of the global pandemic and -- despite never being vaccinated -- I have still only had COVID-19 once; a mild case that involved a bit of a cough for a weekend.

I don't believe there is anything dangerous about the vaccine, but -- based on my own experience coupled with studies published in the last 18 months -- I also seriously doubt there was ever anything very beneficial to it for persons who are not elderly, obese, or infirm.

The Kansas lawsuit is perfect since it avoids ludicrous claims of depopulation and, instead, leans into the false and financially-motivated overstatements about the vaccine's efficacy that flowed out of marketing departments under the guise of scientifically sound medicine .

critical effectiveness information from the public.

Prior to the pandemic, Pfizer was the most heavily fined pharma company in world history. I find it beguiling to comprehend the doe-eyed suckers who ever thought a company with a proved history of habitual lying about the efficacy of its products suddenly had a moment of moral clarity motivated by nothing but an altruistic desire to promote human health.

To clarify Item 7 in the Kansas lawsuit, in 2012, Pfizer entered into a binding agreement with 14 states -- one of which was Kansas -- that it would forever and for all eternity avoid making "false, misleading, or deceptive claims" regarding the efficacy of its products after a court found Pfizer deceptively marketed the drug Zyvox by concealing information that Zyvox - while safe for short-term use - resulted in irreversible nerve damage on a longer timeline. By making that promise, Pfizer limited its damages to $45 million.

If Pfizer communicated incorrect information about the effectiveness of its vaccine within the borders of Kansas it seems it's in violation of that 12 year-old consent decree.

As I said earlier, muythai thinks that he knows so much about this Forum, despite being away so long from this very Forum, that he is entitled to throw even MORE Molotov Cocktails at civil discourse.

That’s a big development. If true, it could have major impacts not just legally but also on public trust in vaccines overall.
It’ll be interesting to see how the case unfolds and what evidence both sides bring forward.

In short; RFKJr has NO business being the head of anything medical.
