Today's the Day...Results!

Today on 23rd August, all around Britain thousands of students my age (15/16) recieve their long awaited GCSE results! And it's all rather tense for me because I damn well need a B in Maths if I'm going to do my choice of subjects in college. Unfortunatly, I made a complete hash of the Coursework, so I'm relying mostly on the exam, which I think I did well on.

I'll let the world know what I got later on by posting my results here.
Anyone else who also recieve their results today may also post their grades here.
Hopefully we can show those crazee Yanks just what a smart bunch we are over here! :P

Maths: A
Biology: A
Chemistry: A
Physics: A
English Literature: A
ICT full course: A
English: B
French: C
Classics: D
Business Studies: D
Religious Studies: D

I'm over the moon about my English, but my classics (which I'm supposed to be good at) is crap, so it balances out.

GCSE standards have gone seriously down hill....

So there are record GCSE results today? wow...that means these illiterate, illnumeric, shit for brained kids that our secondary schools are turning out are really actually intelligent?

Bah!

What dumbed down questions are they asking?

Maths: If your friend has 3 knives, and trades 2 of them for an ounce of crack each, and uses the other one to stab the dealer he just dealt with....how many years do you get in prison?

English: Using many exclamation points, and using "street" lingo, describe how "cool" WAGS are....

7. One to brag about it, one to knock him the f*ck out and do it himself, and five to pick sides and have a fat ruckus.

Easy.

I might have missed it, but I haven't seen Ronaldinho post his results here yet.

Here the standard is a double award science (so it's worth 2 GCSE's) doing everything. For the real thickos, there's also single award, where they know shit all and get a GCSE for it, and for the top sets there's separate sciences, which does Chemistry, Biology and Physics separately.

Electronics is done as a separate option in the technology department (AKA "If it ain't broke, we'll break it" department) and anatomy is covered in Bio.

My school does 'cos we have so many. We did the first ICT exam just before end of term, It was exausting combined with the SATS the term before and also learning a large part of core science for October and a good amount of RS too
