What is your favorite type of talk radio

I work on construction job sites. My truck is my office. I got so sick of music on the radio I started checking out talk radio. I found Alex Jones
http://www.infowars.com on an AM station and couldnt believe my ears. I decided to prove him wrong and couldnt. anyway ever since then I was hooked and hardly ever listen to music on the radio anymore.
What kind of talk radio do you listen too.

If the radio isn't tuned to 101.1 WRIF (Detroit's local rock station), I listen either to Sports Radio 1130 WDFN The Fan, for sports talk, or 760 WJR for news talk, where I get Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity back to back.

ugh, why no NPR on your list? so i voted for "news".....there's hardly any decent sports radio in raleigh, so i'm pretty limited. and i only listen to rush/hannity/esp. savage to keep my bullshit radar finely tuned.....air america don't come in so well or i would check it out more....
and that info wars site is crazy, how can you even tell what is there? it's so scattershot and confusing with so many ads and useless links, i wonder why that is......
finally, i gotta say: it's pretty useless for you to post shit like this, xtra. all it does is draw out your fellow righty crazies, so the vote doesn't actually mean anything. it's just the votes of the vocal righty minority. the silent (and rational) majority never checks your threads....

He has a show on the internet and am and fm and satallite 6 days a week.
Like I said he is out there but, I and you cant prove him wrong....

Yeah, I pretty much stopped listening to FM radio. I listen to Rush, Savage, Hannity and O'reilly . I also found Alex Jones a few years back (on the internet)...ordered his 911 Road to Tyranny video. Interesting stuff.

Over in Britain, we don't have a great deal of talk radio stations.
The 3 biggish ones are "five live" (BBC, sports and culture, centerish, liberal )
"Radio 4"(BBC again, for wannabe intellects, super-liberal)
I refuse to pay my BBC liscence fee....I have untuned all BBC channels from my terrestrials, asked sky to not transmit BBC channels to my sky box, which they blocked after my request......I loathe BBC and their pseudo-commie, liberal nonsense, limp-wristed bleating.
And my favourite, always what I listen to when I'm on the road...Talk Sport (it's part of rupert murdochs god foresaken empire, right-wing, fascist, and fucking entertaining..they've got some legends who work here...like Michael Parry..who is an instituton in himself, a fucking comical legend)

I'm not surprised that just about the only balanced (or as near as possible) news outlet in Britain might appear to be commie to a far-right-winger like you, Norse, but you're making this up about blocking BBC transmissions to your Sky Box, aren't you? Is that even possible?
If not, that's quite possibly one of the craziest things I've ever read on this forum yet. Gave me a laugh, though.

However, I'm very passionate about my adopted radio station. I dislike most of the presenters, and end up shouting, foamy-mouthed in a fit of rage at my car radio...but that's why I love it so much.
I spend alot of time on the road, as my patch is quite large, about 15-25 hours a week.
One I missed was
Terry Christian...he is one extremely clever bloke.

It's true mate, and the lovely people at sky were very willing to oblige. I'm not really a far-right winger though, am I?
The BBC is the spawn of evil. It is unfairly funded, giving it an unfair edge over all other broadcasters, It spouts out liberal, anti-nationalistic garbage, and is forever being used as a tool for the government propoganda...This isn't bloody soviet russia, you know....

I don't have time at the minute to respond to everything there, but as to having an unfair edge over other broadcasters - my nightmare, without having the BBC as a bulwark, is having TV controlled by private owners, like the newspapers. Most of the newspapers churn out complete lowest-common-denominator trash, and that is what I think would happen to TV without the BBC. You might say most TV is already trash, but it
can get a whole lot worse.
Someone has to dominate TV in this country. Would Rupert Murdoch be preferable over the BBC?
Oh, and anti-nationalistic? The BBC's coverage of the monarchy is fawning beyond belief - but then that's part of the BBC's point, to be something the whole country can refer to, and help keep it together.

Look at the press coverage of him, days before he was found dead...He was a scared man, as he knew that something very sinister was going on, he had the facts, and he was going to be murdered for knowing these facts...
