Conquerclub vs Online Poker ???

PostPosted: Sat Oct 13, 2007 5:14 pm

At first glance they seem like two completely different games but the comparisons are remarkable.

If you haven't tried cross matching your skills, have a go now.......

1. Both games have a certain amount of chance in any one move or hand but for the skilled player the odds are good over the long term.

2. Many poker sites use play money so like conquerclub it can be free.

3. Understanding what your opponent will do based on past moves can be more important than your position or cards.

4. Strategy, skill and a little luck are the key factors in both areas.

Try the comparison and post your results, particularly interested to see how the highly ranked Conquerclub players do at the tables.

I was a beast in pokerroom, I had over 2 million (which is superb for starting at 2000)

Then I quit.

Currently $250,000 on Pokerstars from a start of $1,500. A conservative but steady growth a bit like my CC play. My new goal is to beat 2M now. The DragonNZ

Then my dad certainly is getting a sweet deal, cashing in this "fake" money into his bank account...

Let me rephrase it, its fake money, but you can also invest using real money.

Better?

I love to play Texas Hold' em. My father in law gambles every weekend. That is how he has made his living for so many years. He is so good. He wants to go and play in that million dollar tournament they have in Las Vegas. I just wish I could play the game as well as he does. It is amazing to watch him play. I play for real money and fake money.
I enjoy playing for real money much better than I do fake.

I love to beat guys at poker it just pisses them off that a girl kicks their butt. :) I don't know why either.

theres a difference between the .net and the .com

the .net is essentially the front they can advertise legally in the us, since it doesnt involve real money, which is quasi-illegal right now in the us.

the.com is a real money site that you have to pay money into play

because our politicans were looking for a good pet cause, and a few of them found gambling for under 21 year olds essentially.
