well lets put it this way, he dont support dropping daisy cutter bombs and killing over 1 million people, most were innocent people in the Middle East, over lies and Empire Building like bush the neo-con, chicken-hawk, war-monger does.

does that help you out?

Ron Paul is NOT electable. Why isn't he polling higher, Xtra? Please explain this for us. He has zero chance. Most of what you say here sounds good, except he's completely wrong on the war. And come on, how can you still logically say that this has been a "war for oil"? If it really was, then why haven't we secured the oil yet? Why should we be in Baghdad, if all we want is the oil? In fact, why invade Iraq at all? We were already in Saudi, and Qatar, and Bahrain, and Kuwait, why not just claim their oil? And after taking it, why aren't we selling it? And importing it very cheaply back home? Have you noticed how much we're paying for gasoline these days? 10 years ago, when I first started driving, I remember a few weeks where the price actually dropped below a buck a gallon. Now, here in Detroit at least, we're sometimes paying $3. If we stole all that oil for our own use, we'd be paying much less. So stop with the nonsense, if you don't mind.

He has zero chance because the "powers that be" are silencing him! Google Ron Paul. I posted a link in another thread showing how the GOP was not allowing REGISTERED voters into the Texas Straw Poll!(well at least the RON PAUL people!) You CAN NOT run for President and make it unless you are endorsed by one of the BIG 2! Its truly sad. And NOT how this country was intended to run. Our political system is fixed. The sooner you(Americans) realize this, the sooner something can be done about it.

This is as full of win as Serbia is full of lose. I'm not going to debate with someone who is as obviously uneducated on this topic as you are. Ron Paul is winning the polls and the debates.

I will agree that most of xtrata's other posts are nonsense though.

Ok, fine. Ron Paul is going to sweep the elections. I won't vote for him. (unless he actually wins the Republican nomination, I'd still vote him over Hillary)

Now, debate the "war for oil" bit. Go on. I want to hear it.

Before we go into several political debates, I want someone to show the list Of Bush's 2000 election list. Im sure number 13 didnt say "He is for starting massive wars with other nations" followed by "he is for crashing planes into his own buildings(as xtra has brought up several times)".

Thats great that he says he is against all these things, but I actually want to see him take the job. Im not saying he is a bad canidate at all, hell, just getting a single vote is something to recognize, but dont think that everything he says will become truth.

Lmao, the "powers that be" are not letting him get more votes.

He is crap, his policies sucks and clearly not many Americans agree with them, because otherwise he would be higher in the polls. Heres something you'll find interesting - he dusn stand a chance, please stfu. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opinion_po ... candidates

Lol, i didnt even notice that when I went through the list. Seriously, if he is going to get on a political debate and pull a "Well, at least I finished a book yesterday" card, I think we need look elsewhere.

But good luck to Ron anyway :D

Ron Paul is the ONLY Republican candidate who in any way has a shot in the national election.

Why isn't he polling higher? Because most of the American people don't watch debates or try to educate themselves on an election which to them is a long ways off. A lot of people don't even vote in the primaries - that's how uninformed they are about how our political system works.

But let's assume a few possible scenarios.

Let's assume Mitt Romney wins the primaries.

No chance in hell. He's just Bush all over again, except with better hair. Once people get over his looks and his policies start coming out, they'll realize he's just another Bush administration waiting to happen. I think the recent congressional election has made one thing clear - no candidate who runs on the same basic platform that Bush did in 2004 has a chance.

Let's assume Giuliani wins the primaries.

Still no chance in hell. Americans are sick of the Iraq war. They're sick of their rights being infringed upon, and after hearing Rudy talk, they'll be sick of hearing about his heroics during 9/11. What's more, he'll lose the value voters because he's so staunchly pro-choice. Sorry Rudy, no way.

Let's assume Ron Paul wins the primaries.

Firstly, there's like no dirt on this guy like there is on the other two. The chance of ad hominem attacks is like nonexistent, because this guy's political record is clean as a whistle. What's more, the libertarian party has agreed not to run a candidate if Paul gets the nomination. There's one less third party the Republicans have to worry about which would otherwise suck away votes. And he's revolutionary. Running on the idea of the status quo isn't going to inspire voters who are sick and tired of the status quo and the Bush administration. The American people want change, and that is something the Democrats can offer big time. If the Republicans don't match the bid, there is no chance. But Ron Paul can.

The only electable candidate.
