Chicago Blackhawks
Check out a game sometime, you might actually like it.
http://www.cihl.ws/ And here's an Illinois league, proving normal people also play non-professionally in Illinois.

Wrestlers do fairly well on the ground, but whatever you do, do NOT go on to your stomach. That may very well cost you the match.

I was thinking about taking Aikido, but I dunno. Do you think it's a good investment of time, or should I go play sports?

Truely, it depends on the Sensei. Is it only Aikido or a mixture? I know that often times it is coordinated into Shotokan, which is a basic Martial Art which consists of all Japanese styles. And now it even has other's. I know this place called Makoto and it's Shotokan and all MMA.

And going back to the Tae Kwan Do, were you in ITF or WTF? One of those is notorious for being no more then kicking air and breathing loudly (I forget which).

ITF & WTF Just some breif stuff on it, for those who don't know. Not the most explanitory.

I don't know much about the whole martial arts thing. I was just picking up some pizza by my house tonight and saw a small Aikido studio that hadn't been there before. It sounded like something I might want to try, if only to kick my ass back into shape. Oh, and also a friend of mine does Wing Chun, and suggested that I try it.

Hmm... Wing Chun huh? A Branch of the Famous and ever popular Jeet Kune Do. Bruce Lee's original martial art is Wing Chun. What state do you live in, I see you live in the U.S., maybe I know a good place. Also It would be best to start off with Shaolin when entering Chinese Martial Art's. Wing Chun is all Redirection and Misdirection, can be confusing to a newb to Martial Arts.

I'm in Portland, OR. It's a pretty decently-sized city, so I don't doubt I have more than a few options to choose from.
