Why couldn't it be "vote for your favourite dictator". I have tons. Anyways, the only ones I've ever liked were Tom MacInnes, Vladmir Lenin, and Giovanni Gentile.

Lenin
because the guy wasnt a dictator and wasnt a stuck up rich bitch
He wanted to help the poor, and his ideas made perfect sense until the russians took it over the top. Lenin is my hero. Plus, i think he is the only world leader whos body is perfectly preserved :D

You do realize that he used terrorism on the people during his short reign?

what's the difference between lenin killing hundreds of thousand to force his ideas on the people or any later dictator? how has state socialism helped the poor of the world anymore than state capitilism or fascism?

yes. killing hundreds of thousands of your own or someone elses people is bad, it doesnt matter under what state flag it occurs.

did you read ShadySouls earlier comments? he defends lenins killing as not being done in the role of dictator.

i know and im agreeing with you....people who kill thousands, hundreds of thousands and millions of their own, arent doing a great job of getting their ideals accomplished.

wov, Norse, you got something wrong. i know you guys were fed with anti-commie propaganda but Lenin wasn't a fascist.

long live comrade Lenin!

p.s. i voted for Stalin in this pool. i liked playing as soviet in Red Alert - that was a great game and my favorite line from it is when Stalin says: "When you kill one man that is a tragedy, but when you kill ten million that's a statistic."

Voting for Lenin or Stalin shouldn't be an option, because they were Communists and not fascists. Rest are Nazi socialists and various different historical figures that had nothing to do with fascism.

Mussolini "invented" the term fascism, so he is really the only true fascist in the pool.
Plus, Mussolini had a wife, had a mistress, ruled the country (Italy) longer than Hitler Germany.

Hmmmm... Maybe his son in law Galeazzo Ciano is even a better choice.

Fascist, by definition:

Most scholars agree that a "fascist regime" is foremost an authoritarian form of government

Fascism is an authoritarian political ideology (generally tied to a mass movement) that considers individual and other societal interests subordinate to the interests of the state

fascism had a strong base of support among the working classes and extremely poor peasants

Most scholars hold that fascism as a social movement employs elements from the political left
