When he wakes up in the huge area, he's in this water-type liquid thing, and it starts draining out.. He has a huge needle, or needles, in his body, which in later sequences are needles being shoved into his neck, up his jaw and stuff.

ah yeah... so DM's dream might be inspired off of the movie but its not a direct infringement, I doubt we'd be violating anything...
