You regret it in the morning though if you go overboard...
I believe the name is a
Speed Ball. I used to drink those alot when I would go to the bar, because I could still function to drive (Don't Drink and Drive...but this was back in the day, Gip don't drink anymore).
It was probably just an illusion, though. I now realize the Drinking and Driving is a serious infraction. I was disregarding the safety of the community and myself! So, please, Don't Drink and Drive!
Now DaGip drinks NonAlcoholic BuschBeer, but only from time to time. And sometimes when I am at a MicroBrew with my olderBrother, he will want me to try the MicroBrew sample platter that he orders. So, all I do is just take a little sip, swish around a little bit, and breath in some air through my mouth to obtain the
bouquet. Just beer testing, not drinking. But I am probably through with that now too.
And if I was a Muslim or belonged to AA, why does that make a difference? Some people just quit drinking, or never desired to drink alcohol without religion or without some type of organizationl.
To tell you how bad I used to be, I used to drink something everyday! Usually gin. Gin and tonic with lime was the old standby, and my most favorite was Up, Wet, and Dirty...BombaySaphire, a little Vermouth, and a bit of olive juice from the jar...shaken, not stirred...hehe. Those were some of the best maritnis! Something about Bombay Saphire that can't be beat, maybe it is just because there is a picture of The Queen of England on the bottle?
Probably, if I imagine I was drinking at this very moment, it probably would be ice cold Carlo Rossi out of the big gallon jug! Cheap and to the point, baby! A light Chianti...plus, you can drink cold water the next morning and restore your buzz! Amazing stuff...wine.
