Basically anything from Angus Young (though I think Thunderstruck is at the top of my list, simply amazing his performance was).

All kid stuff, except for "Crazy On You", but although it was a great song, i wouldn't even put it in the same class as Jimi Hendrix's distinctive riffs in "The Wind Cries Mary".

Pretty much anything off Leo Kottke's Chewing Pine album. I tried but couldn't find a recoding. It's acoustic twelve string and phenomenal.

Although its probably not the most technically amazing solo, purely for hairs on the back of your neck standing up i'd have to go for the solo at the end of 'Purina Hall of Fame' by Propagandhi

great way to finish a great album

Mick Ronson performed some pretty amazing solos when he toured with David Bowie during the whole Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders from Mars period.

Moonage Daydream in particular does it for me!

The Wind Cries Mary is fairly awesome so far as Guitar Riffs are concerned.

And although I realise that this is going to be regarded as 'kid stuff', my personal favourite piece of guitarwork exists withinin the 30 minutes of musical genius that is Coheed and Cambria's 'The Willing Well'. Try it sometime, you'll be amazed.
