Habit, but i'm not certain that he would have. He is now 0-10 at Texas Stadium and he always tends to choke like that there. Now obviously everyone can't start saying that Aaron Rodgers is better than Favre, but I honestly think he was the QB that was their best chance.

Especially with the scrambling ability he had, Favre would have thrown deep into double coverage on those.

Sorry but you're wrong here Rev, it wasn't Favre's fault the score was getting out of hand early. McCarthy was calling retarded plays, way too many long passes. The Cowboys defense was getting such fast pass rush that he never had any time to hold onto it long enough to throw the long ball. If they had stuck with their normal west coast offenes and short passes (like they did with Rogers in) then they would have kept the Cowboys D more honest and set up the long passes for later.

Defensive coordinator deserves the blame for that loss. Packers gave Romo all day to throw and Harris and Bigby have hard enough time covering people off their first step (yes, I am a Packer fan and realize that those 2 might be the worst secondary players in the NFL.) They didnt send a single blitz all game and let Romo check off to his 4th and 5th option before he had to make a decision.

False, even though he was calling retarded plays Favre was still throwing it deep into double coverage. He threw deep into double coverage to Driver when jennings was wide open on the other side of the field. When he got hit and threw that interception he could have thrown it more towards the sideline or towards the offensive line(there's normally a rb there to keep from grounding), instead he threw it straight up to the middle of the field.
