My parents are a couple of buttfucks. They gave me shit at dinner a couple nights ago for having "bad grades". My worst grade right now is an 81% (C+) and it's in my AP world history class. My mom didn't even go to college and she bitches at me about my grades. They say a B is failing, though it is far from it. They don't understand that I'm going to get a music scholarship (yes I know that sounds far fetched but if you heard me play guitar and piano, you'd say the same thing). My guitar teacher, who has had his music played by the London Symphony and just got back from touring in South America, says that I will get a guitar scholarship, and that I have a "fucking good ear." Even my brother didn't back me up when I was getting anally fucked by words. He's the smart one in the family, when to a GT (gifted and talented) elementary school and middle school, then is now going to the #1 high school in the nation, Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. Mom and Dad always praise his for his uncanny math skills and things of the like. f*ck you too mom and dad.

the whole im amazing at guitar and piano part was just pointing out that my parents shouldn't stress my grades as much as they do.

C was my highest grade last year....

well you have to fend for yourself in life - the sooner u learn that the better. and second real knowledge isn't always shown by grades - western learning system is known for producing "fah"-idiots -people who specialize in narrow area but are lost if they step out of it. be smart learn what you find interesting and be happy with it above everything else. if learning something makes u miserable abandon it. look your interest somewhere else...

well I'm interested in astronomy, but I can't take that class until i'm a senior. But i'd really like to just be a musician...so theres not much I can do. My parents won't let me not take AP history (though it's just hurting my GPA, and in all honesty, i'm not going to get a 4 or 5 on the exam. All it's gonna do it show up that I took it and sucked bear penis at it.

1 or 2: "b's"

If you are getting C's that means that you would be a good teacher. If you are getting B's that means that you will be a good CEO. If you are getting A's that means that you will be a homeless bum who doesn't give a shit about anyone because you are smarter than everyone else.

PC, they are just giving you shit because they love you. My parents used to give me the same crap, and it took me a while to learn not to be too proud of a B, because the reply was ALWAYS "why not an A?" and sure as shit, when I got an A, it was "why not an A+?" They are just pushing you to strive for excellence, not to settle for mediocrity.

About your scholarship, sounds like you are counting that egg before it hatches? Sounds like your parents are trying to show you that things don't always go as planned, and that life can be VERY unfair, and the importance of a back up plan.

Its not your fault. Blame it on American public schools. Remember kids play sports where there are no outs and everyone gets a ribbon so no matter how good or bad you do you will always be special. If you don't like them there is always divorce when things are unreconcilable. Slap them with divorce and they might think twice about telling you how it is.
