No. What did you post? "9/11 is a lie! Jesus is coming! Vote Ron Paul! Wake up!", or something to that extent?

Nah, it was some comment about how Obama is some sort of racist or something.

Heheh...it's censorship in the same way that banning racists on CC is censorship...my question is why exactly did Jay find that exciting? Do you think Obama's a racist?

Are you kidding me? Not only am I not watching the FOX debate, I’m finding another news source! When a candidate pulls in 4.2 million one day and over 6 million another, he is a voice the people want to hear. FOX excluded him from the NH debate because they don’t want people to hear the truth. Unfair and Unbalanced? You decide.

Oh, I agree 100%. Fox is pushing the candidates they like, and that fair and balanced crap shouldn't apply to any form of media. I'm not a Paul supporter, but it admittedly sucks for his supporters that he can't get into half the debates.

Is that the sound of another bout of flip-floppery I hear?

This time last year Jay was proclaiming Fox's unbiased opinion and great news coverage to all and sundry. It wasn't part of teh 'evil liberal press', you see...

Congratulations, Jay.

The problem was that he's not changing opinions due to any new information. The inability to even consider an opposing view. Countless times Fox was shown to be biased, evidence was posted, examples of unbalanced political support and coverage... But no. Just part of the 'liberal media conspiracy' (which was Jay's passion before the 9/11 thing). You couldn't say a single thing to change his mind...

But dear old Ron, because he's for the constitution, can!

I used to think Fox News was the conservatives answer to fair and balanced news coverage. Not any more. The more I watch Fox News, the more it’s socially liberal attitude seemes to rear its ugly head. One strong evidence of this I think is Foxes refusal to give truely conservative candidates as much airtime as they do their liberal favorites such as Rudy Giuliani, John McCain, Mitt Romney, and yes Mike Huckabee. We the voters should be given the chance to hear all of the candidates, even the ones we don’t like. I am against the fairness docterine, but if the elitist in the media (including Fox News) are going to continue to try and tell us who to vote for or when we should be outraged by this or that (Like when the they all but crucified the basketball player who said he didn’t care for gays and didn’t like to have to shower with them.) then I think maybe the Fairness Docterine might not be such a bad thing. And that is a very hard thing for me, a staunch Christian conservative to say. Jamie Standridge, Gastonia, NC

I'm guessing that this wasn't the post159 that you wrote?

Bad luck, looks like the boogeyman got you again eh?

Face it Jay, THEY are not concerned with a single post of yours in a political thread.

i tell you what...if fox news is socially liberal...well i suppose i would not identify very much with something that was truly conservative as it were.

Get tonkaed, you are without question one of the brightest chaps on this site, and no doubt when it comes to philosophy, you could run syllogistic rings round me.
but mate, for the love of God-SAY WHAT YOU THINK!
You've got a great balnced, logical outlook on things but dont be so soft on knee jerk reactionaries like Jay-the guy's barely hang on bugger i dont want to get banned again!
You get my rambling drift-tell us what YOU think, and bugger everyone else. including me, obviously.
Sermon over.
God be with you.

eek....what happens if i dont actually think anything?

I mean, as my good friend nietzsche once said...or at least as i will disgustingly paraphrase, it isnt such a bad thing to wear masks. I dont doubt there are plenty of people on here who have a decent handle on how i think about things.

And i have a terrible gift for rambling, so its hard for me to actually say what i think.

You know when you have a swing, and you push it? It oscillates, and then resonates at a natural frequency before settling. The equation for this natural oscillation period T is given by :

T = 2 * 3.14 * root(l/g)

Hopefully jay will oscillate between Bush and the Neo-Con to conspiracy theorist until settling down.

Time = 2 * pie * root (length or depth of his conviction/gravity or he voice of our reason imploring him to stop)

Only in a vacuum, in which jay is most certainly not.

It's pi, or better yet, π.

I don't know, his head does seem alarmingly hollow.
